Just a great hostel! Amazingly friendly staff and the breakfast is huge. Everything is very clean and you can enjoy the kitchen and two big common rooms. I'd definitely go again!

We booked a room twice - if you live on 4rth floor there is no warm water running in the showers, the ones on second floor where we stayed the second time are ok. Other than that it's a nice clean hostel.

Thank you! The staff is super friendly and helpful. The location is great -- in Alfama and close to most of the rest of the city. The rooms and bathrooms are clean but could use a revamp soon. The fact that the lobby is upstairs is rather annoying but it seems that remodeling was happening when we were there. All the locks and codes don't make for that secure of a place. The lobby really needs to be moved lower. Thanks for a great stay!

Great character to this accommodation, with good breakfast in common area. Desktop & Apple Computers were available for internet access. Would consider staying here again, good value for money.

Good value for money hostel with very friendly staff. Just didn't have much hot water. But great place to stay otherwise.

we stay 4 night at Beira Mar guesthouse, the staff was very nicefull and the room agreable. If i have to return to Lisbon, i think i will go at this adress again.

Nice hostel. Room was quite nice and cheap, breakfast was enough for everybody and good for a hostel. :) The only problem for us was that the room got really cold at night, but with a closed window it stunk like an old room and like must (there was a shower in the middle of the room, maybe that's why) But nevertheless I would recommend it because for the price you really get a good room and the location is good too :)

We went on a 14 days roadtrip, started up at Beira Mar, and ended there again after a wonderfull holiday around Portugal. Beira Mar is located superwell, and allthough it is an old building, with reception on 4th, it is a lovely, clean guesthouse, friendly staff, and wifi in the room.. We will gladly go back for our next trip to Lissabon..

A really excellent place! One lovely location, view, room and staff! Also a lovely breakfast! We really had a wonderful stay there!!
