This is the third time I live there. As warm as before. Very cosy atmosphere, helpful hosts and lovely litle girl:-) I will definitely visit again when I'm in Osaka.

The location was a little bit away from the train stations, but it wasn't a very far walk from any of them. The hostel itself was very clean and the staff members were very friendly. I felt very safe and secure since there were passcodes to get through the front door. We stayed in the two person Japanese-style room and though it was small, it was quite comfortable. The restroom facilities are amazingly clean. There is seperate restroom for ladies as well.

I tried a couple hostels in the Osaka area but Guesthouse Caminoro was the best hands down. It has a fantastic atmosphere and the staff speak excellent English and are very helpful. It is very secure, which became a big concern of mine after I found someone going through my locker in a different hostel. The location shows you a side of Japan not often seen by tourists, but is still only a few minutes from most of the major areas in Osaka. If I can go back to Osaka I will definitely stay there.

I really enjoyed my stay! I felt very comfortable all of the time. The couple running the guesthouse is incredibly friendly, nice and helpful. The place itself is huge and very stylish, super clean and tidy. The neighborhood is calm and quite and provides an insight into the "real" Japanese lifestyle. Totally recommended!!!

This was my first time staying at a hostel and it was a pleasant introduction to them! The staff were very friendly and offered some good places to eat as well as providing up-to-date information on special events happening in Osaka. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants a cheap and clean place to stay! The only con was that the hostel is located a little outside the main area of Osaka so it was farther to travel to the interesting spots, but personally I didn't mind that much.

The staff was extremely helpful, nice, and friendly. The location was right between two major subway lines; and the no curfew was nice, so we could stay out until the last train.

Nice little hostel, a bit far from the city center but easy to reach. It would have been nice to get a room with a window, but nevertheless the place is very clean and the staff very friendly.

The atmosphere here is what makes all the difference. Although it's 10 minutes from the city center with subway, this is the opportunity to explore everyday life in Japan, by checking out the local stuff. We're welcomed by a very nice host, who speaks perfectly english, and is more than happy to show you what is worth checking out in Osaka and whatever you're curious about Japanese culture. It's a small happy family who runs the the guest house, and it's complete with everything you need.

This guest house is excellent and all but to those with RailPass travelling with JR trains only it is quite far from the Shin-Osaka station. I highly reccomend to arrive early get the Osaka 2 day pass and use the subway line instead. Other than that there are plenty of great restaurants in the area including yakisoba stands. The guest house itself is very neat and everyone speaks english very well and is really helpful. We enjoyed our stay there and highly reccomend it

I really liked staying in this hostel, the staff was very very friendly and talked a lot to me, giving me good advices and information. The dorms room was simple but nice and the facilities were very clean. I definitely would stay there one more time.

The owners are super friendly and very helpful. They can give lots of useful advice about things to do and see. The hostel is super clean and is in a quiet neighborhood that will show you another side of Osaka.

The hostel is family owned and they are super friendly and willing to help whenever you need them. The location is a bit of a walk from the closest JR station but it gets away from the busy streets of Osaka which I like. There are many food stands and such around the hostel which I liked a lot especially when it is cheaper than other places in Osaka. The hostel itself was really clean and is like living another house.

a very nicely done up hostel that is cosy and comfortable. We stayed in the modern Japanese rooms- it was very comfortable! The family (a young couple and their cute baby) puts effort into maintaining the hostel and keeping it in tip-top condition, they are also friendly and always willing to offer advice about things to see and do in Osaka.

The place is incredibly well kept and clean. The host are very helpful and friendly, their english is good to tell you anything and share thoughts. the only drawback might be location, but then again, if you like a quiet place and being near to real Osaka people life, or you want to close to Shinkansen, this is definitely your choice. (anyway, taking subway to Minami (south) is only 30mins fun ride away)~

It's a bit removed from the hustle and bustle, but maybe that's what you're looking for. Even if not, with a quick walk you can be on subway or Shinkansen in no time. Koji and Taeko are super nice, and speak English better than anyone I've met in Japan. The place is spotlessly clean, secure, and the beds are comfortable. Little things like free tea and separate female showers don't mean much to me (I'm a guy, and prefer coffee), but shows how much thought they've put into it. Will be back.

Two things stand out about this hostel: the fact that it's family run and its location in a less touristy part of Osaka. Koji and Taeko were very welcoming and helpful and it really felt like they were welcoming me into their home. The facilities were clean and comfortable. I also enjoyed getting to see a part of Osaka that a traveler might not get to. I stayed the previous night in a hotel near Namba, so it was great to get a different side of the city. Make sure you take advantage of the area!

If you want a taste of Osaka from a local perspective, this is the hostel for you. It's a bit of a way from Shin-Osaka station (1 subway stop and a 10-15 min walk to the Hostel) and I walked past the entrance a couple of times before finding it (it's next door to the post office in the roofed shopping street). It was a tad chilly in the dorm when I arrived and it took a while for the room to heat up. Other than that, I was happy with this hostel.

Comfort of the hostel would be improved by a little heating of corridors. Otherwise really good stay.

Good little place, enjoyed our brief stay, fairly quiet. Near a market/shops that didn't feel too touristy
