Wow, what can I say. The name of the hostel is true to itself, every night there is a bit crazy. Firstly the organisation of the hostel is pretty poor, it had a totally unprofessional and inexperienced vibe to it. There were always about two of the owner and the hosts friends in the common room watching tv and then also drinking once the night came. "Big Daddy" is a man I will never forget,he went above and beyond for a host but at the same time was very protective of his guests. I won't be back

Straight up one of the worst hostels I've ever stayed at. The staff working there are constantly trying to get money off you, the rooms are terrible, this place won't be running much longer if they don't get there sh1t together.

No locker in the rooms, there were some behind the desk in the lobby but they were very small. Fortunately, nothing was stolen from us. Shower cabins were not convenient (did not close well) and we had rarely warm water. The door of our room couldn't be closed, unless we let the key in the lock. The staff was polite but not very welcoming nore helpful. The conditon of the building was poor, whereas we were told it was built one year ago.

DO NOT STAY THERE! First of all, the employees are not friendly at all. We reserved for 2 beds and they told us there was only one left. My husband had to sleep on the floor on a matress and the rooms weren't clean. We asked to have a credit since they do not have 2 beds and paid for 2, they never accepted and had to pay the full price. Very expensive for the service we got. Too much noise, you cannot sleep properly. Location is very bad since it is far from the center.

You have to climb up a huge hill to get here - the heat and a backpack made it almost unbearable, despite the fact it's only 10/15 minutes from the sea front. This means that the hostel is a little way out of the way with no food facilities nearby, though the walk down is MUCH easier. The pool is small but a good social area, and the bar serves cheap beer and water. Accommodating staff, most notably Big Daddy, who will drive you down to Zrce beach for less than a cab.

I've travelled all through Europe&SE Asia and have never said this about a hostel, but - it was TERRIBLE. No lockers in the room&the ones by reception don't lock properly - I could pull it open with one hand when a lock was on it. Rooms were gross (gum on the bedframe, bunks that sagged/broke through the supports). Staff were almost useless - besides Big Daddy, they couldn't address our concerns&sat around all day doing nothing. Bad atmosphere, full of creepy old men, no girls, overpriced. :(

good hosts. good beds...little bit out of town but its bearable

Great atmosphere although there seemed to be no boundaries and people just walked into your room without asking. Close to zrce and staff were happy to drive us there for 20 kuna each. The hostel itself was disgusting, one if those places that after your shower you felt dirtier then before you went in. The place looked like it had just been put together by a child. Pool was filthy but were cleaning it out when we were there on our last day. Good vibe but don't expect a lot

This hostel is overpriced for what you are getting. We ended up leaving early and moving to an apartment that was a lot nicer, better location and was cheaper than our cramped room in Crazy Night. In fairness to the boss, he helped us to find the new place and even drove us down to see if we wanted to take it. Maybe (at 24!!!) we were too old for this type of hostel and I probably would have put up with it when I was 18!

Decent hostel, rooms very basic, 5 minutes from novalja, can't pay by card, allowed by your own drink and pre drink by pool till half 12 which is a bonus
