good location. room was ok. shared bathroom could use some renovation, especially, for a start, come on, just use some regular soap, not that hospital stuff. Staff couple was really friendly and helpful. Thank you very much! Arrived a bit late in the evening so got the last room available ( we did have a reservation) and it was TINY compared to all the others, and with a smaller bed. Got no compensation for this. Also got no info on arrival. Otherwise ok. We arrived at this place at 2.30 am, looking forward to a good nights sleep after a long journey, having booked well in advance. Howeverm we were told by the young man on duty \\"sorry we have no rooms, there was a mistake in the booking...go and find a party to go to and come back in a few hours and we might have a room". We went and found somewhere else to stay, at much greater cost to ourselves. Guesthouse Egilsborg is tidy and facilities work properly. Very good breakfast. Guesthouse is centrally located, yet I found it reasonably quiet at night. Great location, tour bus pickups worked well there also. Breakfest was good. They could get some hooks to shower room for clothes.
