We had a car so the location was perfect as it was not even a ten minute drive from the place to the main entrance of the lakes. Close to places to eat as well. Without a car though, it isn't 100% ideal. But as for accommodation it was so cosy and authentic. Loved it!

A brilliant find. Staff are very friendly and they welcome you warmly to their home. We stayed in an annex which meant we had a kitchen a great bonus. Fridge supplied. Sadly the wifi would not work but with great atmosphere and beautiful views who needs it. We were offered breakfast for 6€ each very tasty and had a home cooked meal for 2 one night which cost us 20€. Great location east to drive to though public transport would be very hard. Very welcoming. Definitely worth a stay.

Amazing area and beautiful people. Nature, flowers and the owner bring to us even a tipical soup to try. Love them.

Nice guesthouse, wonderful owners but really hard to find. The directions were super vague on hostel world. You have to get off at the auto camping bus stop (which your driver may not know about), take the first right and walk for a bit.

Great location to get to Plitvice Lakes (5km) and friendly host offering breakfast as an extra.

Lovely house with kitchenette, double bed and couch. Located close to bus stop, however we had a car, so was much easier to get to shops and to the national park. Host cooked us a great seafood dinner for an additional 15 euro. Wifi only works in the front of the property.

Really nice place - beautifully built. Very nice owners too!

If you dont have a car, dont bother coming here. The distance to the entrance is no 5k but double according to google maps. Taking buses is not very convenient as they dont run very often. We were given a false info by the owner that we can take buses from the Autocamp (that was only for their guests). When we said that we cant take it, the owner just shrugged her shoulders and said "hmm, problem" . Area looks nice, could be fine if you have a car but most people that are backpacking dont...

We really enjoyed our stay at Guesthouse Hodak. It is in a good position to visit the Plitvice Lakes if you are driving like we were and is close to local restaurants and supermarkets. It is about a 15 drive to the second entrance of the lakes. The apartment itself was very clean and had everything we needed! One point to be aware of is that we used the address provided on our booking and our sat-nav sent us to a surprised Croatian mans house! Google it instead that address will be correct.

Very nice place! Very clean and staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good, but likely not worth the price. Would likely be less convenient without a vehicle though to get to.
