Awesome stay, totally recommend it! Great location, close to center and public transport. Allthough we hired a car and travelled around a bit. The weather was great, and the water not too cold. The owner speaks English and cooks local food - paella on Sundays. Great place to hang out with friends, will return definitely.

It was completely disgusting and dirty. It is also not true what they "sell" in the webpage. I went because I saw good comments about the guy of this hostel, he's nice, but the hostel personally I don't recommend it. It is close to the center, maybe it is one of the good things in relation to the price.

When we went to the hostel for the first time, we asked a women in a little shop, and she said "Ah poor guys, you've been deceived! That hostel doesn't exist!" And we already had paid. However, then we asked around and after an hour or so a strange man came down the street, from the building that was supposed to be a hostel. But there was NO SIGN of any hostel. The man let us in, and EVERYTHING WAS DIRTY, and small, and strange. There were no other people. So we went looking for something else

The best place I've ever been! Very tidy, silent arooms about 10 minutes by walk from city center (Placa dEspanya). Really helpful staff (24h - neightbour next door), hudge kitchen and livingroom with chimney. Free WiFi, shops in neighbourhood and many many more!

The hostel was like an old flat. We had only an old heater for 15-30 minutes every night where gas smell was coming out from. We booked the Deluxe double room, but it was only a room with a king bed and an ancient television. We couldn't lock the door either. It was dirty, and in our 3 days staying nobody cleaned the bathroom. Only the location of the flat is more or less good.It is 10 minutes from the Cathedral. The owner was helpful, but he always stayed in the kitchen so we w/couldn't use it.

Worst hostel I ever stayed in. We came as a group of 12 in Feburary. Of course, in Feb Mallorca is very cold, but the hostel did NOT have a heating! There was only one heater which was left on the hallway and we all had to leave our doors OPEN at night in order not to freeze. The first two nights we slept with all the clothes we had with us AND our coats on - CRAZYNESS!!! Not to mention the VERY, VERY DIRTY kitchen!! The bathroom was not cleaned during the 4 days we stayed there!! Unacceptable!

When I first arrived at Hostel Puka It was a little different to what I had first expected. It's more like a shared apartment than a hostel, which actually suited me perfectly. The owner, Xavier, is a generous and very helpful guy. It has more of a "go and stay at a friends house" feel than a regular hostel. If like me, you enjoy this type of stay, then I recommend Hostel Puka for your next stay in Palma
