This place is huge! The day I was there was Easter Saturday, so the place, especially the lobby was full of 15-18 year old noisy kids. Since the lobby is the only place where you can use Wi-Fi, it was not very convenient. The dorm was nevertheless an oasis of peace, and the bathrooms are clean. Breakfast was also good.

A very affordable price, including breakfast.

We took a 5-people apartment. The room was clean, We were given towels and bed linen. The breakfast was execcelent. We did not have a kitchen, but we did not really need it. The location was good, very near the fortress. We walked from the railway station to the hostel. We did not have to use public transport in Salzburg at all.

Loved it!

It's also a hotel, so not exactly the cosy kind of atmosphere we love about hostels. Also no open kitchen, dining only for extra charge - brilliant breakfast included though. In the hostel rooms actually only one socket for 12 beds. But very clean, free lockers, the staff are ok and only five minutes walking into the old town.

We enjoyed our stay at Jufa hostel- it fits the purpose very well for a weekend city break! The staff were very helpful, answered all our questions and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable (e.g. they put on the Sound of Music whenever we asked if we could watch it, later than the normal time.) The only slight complaint would be the funky smell in the shower room but aside from that everything was clean and functioned well! It's even worth staying here just for the breakfast! :)

This is a hotel with a hostel on the lower level. On the map it looks far from the centre, but it's not. The breakfast is GREAT! I had a shared room, which was lovely: comfy bed, good layout and the shared bathrooms were clean. The smell that some reviews talk about isn't that bad. and it's only in the hall. There are lockers outside the bedroom, which require 1Euro coins (that you get back). The girl with dark red hair at the reception was super helpfull (I didn't catch her name).

Transport-no 10 bus goes from airport to bridge near hostel. breakfast, cereal, scrambled egg, continental style meat etc. Rooms- clean, could see they could get stuffy in summer, large free lockers outside. Nice staff. Clean, modern building. Very close to old town. 25min walk from station.

The power was out in our room. At 2 am I went to the front desk to request help and the front desk staff to move us into a new room or to help get our electricity fixed. He told me it was not his problem. When we decided to move to another hotel, they refused to issue a refund. Pitiful.

It was an amazing time in JUFA. SInce we went to Salzburg in Christmas so everything was closed so we decided to stay back at hostel in night and there we meet some really good people and it was really nice experience. The location of the hostel is very beautiful.

I really liked this hostel. Comfy beds. The breakfast is the best I've had at a hostel. The location is great. A short walk to the old city and bus lines. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hostel was really clean. Only 2 minor issues: Wifi only works in the lobby which is frustrating, but the lobby is huge and the chairs are comfy so it's not that bad. Also, as other have noted, the ventilation in the 12 bed dorms is inadequate and the room does smell pretty funky.

REALLY CONFORTABLE HOSTAL AND EXCELLENT SERVICE. BESIDES IN THE ROOM THERE ARE ONLY 1 ELECTRIC CONTACT FOR 8 PERSONS.
