Tamura was a private house built about 100years ago and was recently refurbished as a cozy guesthouse maintaining original atmosphere. Occasionaly, deer gets into the garden of Tamura and may surprise you. Nara Park, Todaiji-temple, Kohfukuj-temple, Gangoji-temple and yet many more spots are within walking distance. Best location for Nara walk.

The owner is very kind and helpful and enjoys talking to her guests. The guesthouse is located very close to the historical park and just a step away from the temples area in Nara. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast (300 yen) for the flavours and presentation

Gate close at 24:00
No-smoking in the rooms. We welcome homely atmosphere but are not a party hostel. Separate dormitories for male and female.
We will serve Japanese style breakfast for 300Yen upon request. Free coffee and tea set and Microwave oven are available at the hall. A refrigerator for guests and free cold waterare also available.
There is no car parking lot at Tamura, but several Coin parking lots within 5-minute walk. Bicycles can be parked in our garden. Japanese public bathhouse (Sento) is about 5-minute walk from Tamura.
We will keep your luggage bofore check-in and after check-out.
