Very nice people and we liked the location near a lot of restaurants and Metro lines. We stayed in the large dorm that was fine but the open sink area right outside the room was a bit disruptive.
My favorite hostel that I stayed in! Very charming facility (though not very noise proof and doesn't help when there are rude inconsiderate guests sharing the female dorm). All the staff were so friendly and kind and willing to help. I wish I could have stayed longer. I stayed in the 4 bed female dorm room and it was comfy and spacious. It was also always very clean. Would most stay at this hostel again if coming back to Osaka. Also only 2 shorts blocks from the Jr fukushima station.
Common room area is very nice. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is alright, but not much to do in that area. I wish they had given us larger personal lockers or somewhere to safely store our bags - all the bags were basically left in a common area in the dormitory, allowing anyone to access them when you leave. You get a little box in your bunk with a lock, but that's about it. The room also gets very hot at night in the summer - no airflow. They give you free earplugs at least!
All in all this was a pretty good hostel but the biggest downside was the fact that there was no bar. I don't know if it was just our timing or something else but whenever we entered the lounge/kitchen it had the atmosphere of the waitingroom of a doctorsoffice... Extremely boring, no activities and there was the weirdest music playing every single day from this tiny laptop. The beds were great and big. Only one hotplate and washingmachine in the kitchen though and the clothesdryer was broken..
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hostel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and I have a great nights sleep. JR Fukushima station very close by also so great for those with a JR pass.

คุ้มค่า อยู่ในย่านที่สะดวกดีไม่พลุกพล่านมากเกินไป บรรยากาศดี เป็นตัวเลือกที่ดีครับ
Love the people, love the location and love the cleanness!
Good hostel with great location really easy to find stopping at Fukushima station in the Loop line part of the JR Pass . Cozy building.
Traditional room and building. Nice and clean. But it's uncomfortable to use second floor bed.
Actually I enjoyed staying in this guest house, firstly the ambienence and facilities are very Japanese style which made me feeling really great when staying. The public area allowed me and my friend to make friends with different people who also stayed there and came from different courties. We shared travel experience and itinerary. It was a fun talk and nice chit chat time for the travellers. Just only one disappointed thing that I want to say, the overnight staff who is the young lady is bad

This was a very pleasant hostel with a real Japanese feel to it, mixing modern and traditional. very clean, good location, and friendly staff fluent in english. I would stay here again~
This was our first hostel in our Japan trip. Mariko (sorry if I spelt your name wrong) and the other hostel staff were really friendly and always ready to help out. The hostel was very nice with a more traditional style to it (think sliding doors), the common area/lounge was really nice to be in. Also noticed that there are Japanese travellers staying in the hostel too so it was nice to meet some locals as well. With the location, amazing food in the local area! Must try the tomato soup ramen
Loved the hostel! Located near the Fukushima Station - that was full of cheap eateries, the guesthouse was really a good base to explore the rest of Osaka.
A home away from home. Highly recommended!
I thought it was hard to find with the directions on the website considering the help of two local people. Otherwise, I thought it was in good location. I was able to book excursions and purchase tickets to places. I bought the Aquarium plus metro card and avoided the queue. I liked the common area, access to WiFi and was also able to leave my luggage after check-out.
Very good location, great common area for socialising which is a shame to set a bedtime for guests as early as 11pm. Great showing facilities.
