Hostel Yougendo is a really lovely place to stay in Nara. It is peaceful and beautiful, the rooms are quite big, it has two cute cats, helpful staff that can lock away your luggage for extended periods of time, AND an awesome, cosy bar run by Chris from Yorkshire who makes wicked food. try the felafel!Hostel Yougendo is a really lovely place to stay in Nara. The place had a very authentic feel almost as though we were visiting a musuem. Very easy to get to from the station. Close proximity to a shopping mall, and very nice places to eat. The rooms were great. Yougendo provides you with many things to do, in case you get bored. The place had a very authentic feel almost as though we were visiting a musuem. We had a very good experience. Is near to the train station and the place was very old and traditional and impeccable. Rooms are not very big although they have all the necessary.
We just had one incidence with the staff: The day that we were leaving, at 10:01 they went into our room to ask for the keys (the check out is at 10h). We were about to leaving the room, I think it was a rude manner to ask for the keys like that.
The rest of the stage we had no problems. We had a very good experience. Is near to the train station and the place was very old and traditional and impeccable. Rooms are not very big although they have all the necessary.
