Staff Mr. Jo and Jeannie were both very helpful in informing me about Guilin, and they both speak English extraordinarily well. Stayed for one full week. Unless on the tightest of budgets, I suggest you choose a private room with bathroom, as the shared bathroom is not great (squat toilet with shower much too close to the toilet), and the price for a private room is not too much more. Overall, excellent value for the room you get here. Would definitely stay again!

OK place, but not if you don\'t like roaches. First night after a city tour, we killed 16 roaches on our floor. Shared bathroom not too nice, smelly. Nice staff, cheap and ok location.

DON'T COME HERE!! We had a VERY unpleasent stay. The manger is not a generous person, and that's an understatement. You have to pay extra money for breathing inside the hotel... The rooms where very dirty and full with bugs (dead and alive..) The "free kitchen" is very dirty as well, and is not free at all! The hotel's food is very poor and cheap, small dishes, lot's of extra money for a spoon of sugar. Not Good!   Read Owner Comments

Place was nice, free internet and projector for watching tv+ movies. But the rooms were a bit dirty with bugs etc. Needs a nice spraying with bug spray. VERY friendly front staff!!
