the girls who ran the hostel were very friendly, helpful and fluent in english. They booked our onward journey for us in advance and this went off without a hitch. Only suggestion: they should modernise the bathroom, whilst everything was there, it was very tired and shabby looking.

All of the staff and the manager or owner couldn't be more helpful and pleasant. They all would go out of their way to help and they were very informitive. I would highly recommend this hostel. It has been one of the nicest and most reasonable that we have stayed in,in China.

100% this hotel is excellent. I travelled to Guilin with my parents (who are a little old) and this hotel was excellently suited to our needs. The staff were helpful and very considerate concerning my parents. They gave good advice. Very close to the 2 lakes and the main shopping streets of Guilin. Probably a 5 minute walk. Also, it is only a 5 minute walk from the main bus station. I would defo stay here again

Riverside hostel is a good hostel. It has the typical chinese charm of the area and I found it to be quite clean. Usually i found the hostels on my trip in China not as clean and neat as this one. The reception staff was well informed and happy to help me with selecting a tour to the rice terrace and the Li river. They could arrange everything for the tour to Yangshuo. All in all a very good place to stay while in Guilin for me.

Really great hostel. Staff was so helpful, they even walked to the next store with us to charge our mobile phones. Room and bathroom were very clean and the room was quite big. We loved it there.

clean, quiet and nice location. all staffs are chinese but super friendly and made our stay more enjoyable. The only crucial bad point is a heater. it didnt work well... the room was cold all the time we stayed. it might be the best hostel during summer.:) 清潔で係りの人の態度がとても素敵です!寒さを気にさえしなければ、とてもいいホステル!
