Pros : Good location, fairly clean room. Satellite TV.

This place is a great stopping point to go to Yangshou. The airport shuttle stops realitively nearby which is also right by the train station too. So they are both walkable. But the common area isn't that great and the staff was helpful but not very fun. All in all if its a stopover then this would be good otherwise if you were sticking around then I'd pick elsewehereThis place is a great stopping point to go to Yangshou. Good location close to the bus and train stations. We had a few issues as we arrived at 7am, paid for our room and then returned at 6pm to find it had been given to someone else and the new staff didn't believe we'd already paid. They sorted it all out in the end but I felt that I had to push quite hard before they rang the other desk clerk and confirmed our story. Our room was spotless, but we didn't fancy the communal bathroom. Not a bad place to use as a crash pad though.Good location close to the bus and train stations. The common area is too small. There should be a large outside deck. No place to visit with other guests. Our rooms were very clean but one did not have a western toilet. I came to the Hostel and I didn't get the room that I booked. It was after midnight and I did not feel like moving myself to another place. They organised another place, but very bad quality place. Great hostel. The staff was friendly and super helpful, the location ideal, the rooms clean and equipped with all the basics for cheap travel plus free wifi. Lots of character and right on the lake so a pretty spot---great choice!Great hostel.
