This was the second time we stayed there for a one-night stay only on our way in and out of Guiyang. Overall, the accommodation is sufficient however the staff was lacking. For having stayed there before it was bewildering why the reservation took so long to pull up. This was not aided by the lack of English speaking staff. They then proceeded to attempt to charge me a higher price than hostelworld had offered/ higher than the last time we stayed which was only a couple days earlier.
The lady behind the desk spoke no english at all. For one night it was perfect. It is a little hidden but easy enough to find it eventually.
There was no nice admosfeer, there was only ons omployee who could speak a little bit Englisch, the beds where very uncomfortable (even for a backpackers hostel), and it was strange that you have to stand with your feet in the toillet while taking a hower.
Theres not always staff which speaks english on duty, but there always can come somebody who does. Location really dowtown. Would stay here again.

Clearly a hostel that is targeting Chinese travellers rather than Westerns. The staff tried their best though to help in English and were largely successful. Don't expect Western bathrooms
Ok for a night or 2. Decent rooms and staff were actually really helpful. Quite hard to find though, maybe upfate the directions to be a bit more detailed?
