The helpfulness of the staff is tops! We would certainly recommend this location to anyone traveling to Izmir.

I have stayed 2x. It is in a very good location, next to metro Basmane. It is a simple place, but pleasant and a nice staff. There is wi-fi and one free computer. The only down sides are the rooms are REALLY small. The second time I stayed there was not even a place on the floor where my suitcase could lay flat. Also, after I stayed the first time I told them my shower head was missing a piece. When I can back 4 weeks later and got the same room by chance...the shower head piece missing.

The hotel is located in an excellent location. If one is arriving in Izmir by coach from other turkish cities, the drop off point is otogar. From the otogar, the big companies run a free shuttle to the centre of town, a certain roundabout. The hotel is located at a stone's throw from the roundabout, hence, its very easy to locate. Staff are very helpful and friendly However, rooms are rather small and not well lit. Bathrooms are tiny as well. But gd value for the money one pays.

I stayed here with a friend for one night, and was really impressed with the helpfulness of the staff. They gave us a great restaurant recommendation adn went to great lengths to try to help us recover a lost item in İstanbul. I'd read that this was supposed to be more like a hotel than a hostel, and the lobby and breafast supported that...but the bare-bones room accomodations did not. Everything was clan and totally great on a hostel-scale. You'll be 100% satisfied if that's what you expect.

Its more of a hotel and I hate that they try to charge you in euros so you have to pay more. Most places in Turkey are not this expensive. Also it is a hotel not a hostel. There is no common room, kitchen, dorm rooms or anything like that. it is a hotel.

All is very well, location of hotel is perfect (2 min of walking to Basmane train station - easy way to get to airport), lots of cafe, minimarkets and cheap durum-shops are located around here. We\'re very pleased to have air condition in the room (\' cause it was cold outside), it is also allowed to smoke in rooms. Breakfast is good enough...so we\'d like to visit this hotel again.

The main desk guy there, Orhan, is great. He's very very helpful. For the rate, everything was great. It is more of a hostel than a hotel, but that was what I was expecting. You really can't beat the location. It's right outside of Basmane (200 meters away) station, which will pretty get you to any place in the country by train, there is also a bus sales office, Pamukkale, right outside (80 meters away), it is also 800 meters from center city Bazaar and night life. Highly recommended!
