This is a great Hostel in Boston, a beautiful European atmosphere city. The location is close to the underground station and the area seemed quite safe during the night time. However, sometimes the tourists will get lost when they arrive at Boston for the first time. It took me fifteen minutes to reach the check-in desk of the hostel. In general, the environment and the facilities in this hostel really satisfied me. I will also definitely recommand my friends to live there.

The staff were helpful, facilities basic and clean. Although the location was great and it was easy to navigate the subway with a Charlie card, which cost only 15 dollars for seven days, for 39 dollars a night, I would have expected better facilities and more for your money.

Very nice. However, the dorms could be larger. My problem with phonecard wasn't resolved, but this can hardly reflect the quality of hostel. Just keep in mind: don't buy phonecard from nearby shop - it may be absolutely useless.

The bathrooms weren't clean - bugs and mould. The carpets need a severely big clean out as they are disgusting and smelt quite awful. Some staff were really nice, some were not at all. Location was seedy but easy to get around. It's ironic that the most expensive hostel I've ever stayed in is also the worst.

Stayed 2 nights got upgraded to aprivate room which was nice. Wifi is only available in lobby which is kinda annoying if you want to skype and all that. Very good location as it was close to shops and only couple hundred metres from the train.

Pretty standard HI style. Staff were polite and accommodating, met nice travelers during my stay there. POSITIVES: Clean, safe, friendly and great location. NEGATIVES: - Wifi is VERY poor, I ended up not bothering, wasnt available in my room. - The common areas were really small, everyone crowded into the kitchen to use the Wifi. Finding a spot to eat dinner was impossible, so we ate outside at a restaurant instead. - Price - At 40 dollars a night for a 6 bed dorm, it is pretty $$$

Well, I JUST LOVED my stayed in this hostel. Tha atmosphere is great, they made a party to integrate all the guests and it worked! I met a lot of people from diferents countrys in this party and we hang out all togheter. The staff are really great, I will tell all my friends in Brasil that they should stay in the hostel when they visit Boston

Convenient location and very friendly and helpful staff. However the complimentary WiFi was extremely slow and unreliable to the point of being nearly useless - unforgivable in this day and age. Also the WiFi didn't cover the rooms and only worked in the rather ascetic common areas in only one floor. The rooms were spacious and clean but the common areas were rudimentary - there's no real space for hanging out, just the dining facility and small lobby.

My arrive to hi boston was really good, i found it from the beginning! The hostel is close to the t and to the prudential tower (a gteat view over boston!!) and to many other shops and dinning areas :) It was clean and the staff was really helpfull, they have activities for every day... And the best thing, after you checked out, you can leave your luggage ther and pick it up later (really helpful if you bus/flight back depart later), so you don't have to take you stuff all the day with you!!!

very secure, but don't lose your receipt! you have to show it everytime you walk in. the bathroom situation on the bottom floor is horrible, the toilet and shower is in the one room, so it's like your bathroom at home, but there are only 3 and about 4 rooms of people! i also booked and paid for a 6 bed and they put me in a 14 bed and when i enquired about it they said the 6 bed was no longer available. i would still stay here again, just be patient with the bathrooms.

That would be great if we could have hot showers and also if we didn't have to unclog the toilets (before) and after using them...
