very very good location but very small dorm. I was in a 6 bed dorm, it was only like 12m² need a lock to close your locker. my bedroom shared a wall with the staff office, so i can heard them and each ring from the hostel phone ... Wifi only on the dining room, during the evening it was hard to find a seat with one wall plug plate. lot of kids around 14 years old were here, like a travel class, lot of noise

free wifi does not work in any spaces except for the kitchen area, which makes the kitchen always crowded with people trying to use the internet.

Nothing especially wrong, but room for improvement in cleanliness, which is pretty important.

The 6 bed dorm rooms were EXCEPTIONALLY small. The ladders to get to the top beds did not reach the floor and were very unsafe. The water in the showers were ice cold all 3 days I stayed there. The hostel ran out of lockers to purchase, so if you decide to stay there make sure you bring your own!! WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for the quality.

very nice and helpfull stuff. The hostel is a global meetingpoint to share experiences and trip reports. By the way: it is not necessary to run the TV in the common room all the day.

Good hostel. Rooms arent overly big but hey for the most part your only in there to sleep. Michelle was awesome, always happy and organising activities during the day and night which is what you need coming to a new city, hell she is probably the best part, so much fun.

I had a real great stay in HI Boston Downtown. The hostel is located a 20 min. walk to downtown Boston or s 5 min. ride by subway which was very close to the hostel. The hostel was clean and facilities were fine, though one evening there was only cold water in the shower.

The free wifi is veeeeryy slow. Please, change channel in the dining room. During my four nights it was only sport. No one watched.

The staff was really helpful on the phone about the hostels amenities and recommending restaurants. One staff member recommended I go to Boston Fine ARts Museum on my last day, and they would let me check my bag during my visit and get right to airport afterwards. It was amazing. Staff always friendly and made bills for change to use internet. Breakfast was really good. I wished I would have known in advance I would need a lock for locker, I could have brought one, so I bought one there.
