Nice hostel with a good location, very close to metro and easy to get to the airport/bus station. Shortcomings are little space in the room and cleaning your own dishes after breakfast - I guess that's normal for a lot of hostels, and the problem is not that I'm too lazy to do my dishes, but how clean are they after someone else did them? Aside that I would recommend the hostel if you're not too picky.

Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, dorms and bathrooms were well kept. They also gave me a lasagna dinner. It was beautiful.

The location is great! Whether you are walking over the bridge to Cambridge or to Beacon Hill and the city you always have the plesure to pass through the Backbay area which is beautiful. Also a Green Line stop is just around the corner. Breakfast is included which is great and it is cheap. On the downside - it could be a bit cleaner and they could invest in proper blankets. Overall great value for money and a good strating point to explore the beautiful city of Boston!

I was visiting Boston to catch up with a friend, so I really can't comment on the activites that the hostel offered. But from what I heard people had a great time and I would have definitely participated had I been there by myself. The breakfast was a bonus and they had a good selection. The place was always clean and the staff were freindly and helpful. Being close to a subway staion was great!! I would stay here again!

the staffs were very friendly and easy to approach to. whenever i had questions, staffs were just there at the front desk and ready to be asked. I'd definitely stay at this hostel again if I visit Boston for the next time. The subway station is just a half mile and easy to find.

Nice Hostel. I got the feeling they might have let the building maintenance slide a little because they are moving to a new location in 2012. It was a little run down, but otherwise a good place to stay. Near to the rail line and walkable from downtown. I think the friendliest and most positive receptionist I came across was in Boston, and everyone else was great too. Good breakfast too

The hotel is a little bit old but more or less is on the clean side. Plenty of bathroom, and the kitchen is kept orderly and clean as well. However, my stay is ruined by a passive aggressive staff member. He clearly hates working there. Other staff members seem to be friendly.

Great, clean hostel. Lots of room, towels provided. Shower water didn't stay warm all the time though. And the wi-fi connection wasn't very good - but you can't seem to avoid terrible connections wherever you go. Almost every hostel I've been to has been bad with the wi-fi. But otherwise, this hostel is a great place to stay. Highly recommended.
