Excellent location close to beach and shopping. The tour desk next door helped me book a guided tour, which left from outside the hostel. The hostel has very good facilities. Drawbacks are en suite rooms where you hear your room mates brush their teeths. Also, breakfast was no joy.Excellent location close to beach and shopping. Great location, the beaches are 1st class and much better than staying in the downtown LA area for safety. Day trips on offer were plentiful. Kitchen seemed a bit small for size of hostel and communal bathrooms did not offer any privacy for getting changed. Other than that a great stay. Great place to stay in Santa Monica, awesome times to be had if you get out and meet people. Close to the beach and the bars..
