The hostel itself was really comfortable and I appreciated having a bathroom attached to the bedroom. A very sociable place without the worries of all-night parties, the only drawback was its location in a pretty rough neighbourhood. Having said that, in the greater scheme of things it is a good launch pad for being within touching distance of most of the popular neighbourhoods! Can't underestimate how nice the staff are! :)

We had a great time. The staff was so nice and the location was perfect for where we wanted to visit in the city. Pancake breakfast was awesome! We will definitely be returning for another stay.

Loved this hostel, for the in-suite bathroom, the free bagle and juice/coffee/tea breakfast, the comfortable lounge and breakfast area, mixed dorm room and bathroom were clean. The noise level was not too bad. The top bunks were pretty creaky though due to the metal frames. There are a lot of cheap good restaurants to eat at around. The neighbourhood can be shady but use your normal street caution and you will be fine. Especially loved the Golden Era vegan resto on O'Farrell, yum!

The one dollar pancakes and scrambled eggs are really a good idea and definitely adds up to the ' standard' breakfast I found in almost every hostel that I stayed before. On the other side, the coverage of the wifi signal on the lobby and first floor needs to get better (one or two extra access points could take care of that). Nice hostel overall!

This was probably the best hostel I ever stayed in. It was VERY clean, the stuff was very kind , I had Wi-Fi connection even in the room. Free coffee and tea all day, free breakfast. Very clean mattresses and bedsheets. There was no need for my sleeping-bag. The stuff new everything about San Francisco and also organized inexpensive yours around the city.

Extremely nice and clean hostel with great facilities. Don\'t let the neighborhood frighten you. As long as you mind your own business and don\'t stop up in the streets around the hostel, you\'re good. Also be aware that parking in the neighborhood sucks and is pretty expensive, if you have a car...

It's a very nice place with very nice peiple, but the location is very bad. It doesn't make you feel safe at all. I wouldn't recommend it for a person going alone specially a woman.

Since is on a neighborhood where there are homeless people, people should know where to walk. Also, we asked for 2 single beds before arriving and we got a single bed. We had to ask to get the beds changed. Besides that, the staying was good.
