Very nice and clean hostel with single, double rooms and dormitories. Perfect location in citycentre accross famous ruïnebar Instant an Piaf. Shop on corner, metro, etc. Friendly owner, can pick you up at the airport / station.

The hostel is not the best in the Budapest but despite it has some kind of magician which is touching you.

I really do not recommend this place. The place is fine but the price is to high for the room you get. The rooms are really small, not very clean and you do not even get clean blanket. To avoid

It is good hostel to stay a few nigth. The owner is very friendy and helpful. I wouldn´t not reccomended to stay there for a long time period. There is no enough storage space and cleanliness could be better.

HBC Hostel is really good located and it has good price ;) Also it has a good owner he's too nice to his guest. Even he showed around us by his car it was very nice to us. We would like to thanks to him. We are glad to be there and I can offer this hostels to everybody.

Very clean rooms and bathrooms but the shower wouldn't drain properly. Place had a lot of character and was really well decorated, almost a home away from home cozy feel to it. Owner/ only employee was very friendly and would make everyone dinner every few days for free. As well, would take you out for a free tour of the city in his car. Free tea and coffee. kitchen with hot plate and microwave. Good size lockers. living room with big screen tv. Would recommend to backpackers of all ages.

Excellent place to stay in Budapest! Located in the center, close to the Opera, very helpful owner. Highly recommended.

Great hostel in the center of Budapest, all main tourist locations can be visited by foot. Clean rooms, bathrooms and kitchen. Host was extremely friendly to us and cook dinner 2 times, we only stayed for 3 nights.

The location of hostel is very good, it's very close to St Stephen basilica from where you can go wherever in the city. Stayed only for a one night but if we stayed longer I am sure we would know what to do as Anton has lots of information about Budapest. He is very friendly and helpful, he has also took us to a train station. He is a really good cook too. There is a common room, kitchen, internet but you need to ask for towels as those were not in the room. All the best wishes.
