The guy is a nutcase,but he's alright.My advice is to avoid talking to him as much as you can as he goes on and on and on.Location seriously bang in the middle of hongdae clubs/bars and shopping. Only 1 shower, can't imagine how it goes in peak season.Kitchen is good,no bfast.Convenience stores/cafe/restaurants around.Yes it's in middle of Hogdae but tucked away in side street,so not full on if you are worried.Right next Nanta theatreif you can't find it.The place is clean and comfortable enough

the manager is very crazy

the man who run the hostel is VERY annoying.always making questions and waking you up, entering in the rooms even though we were still sleeping.....the place is located in a very convenient area if you want to party but be prepare for the day after with this man asking you silly things, always asking you for money or food to eat....annoying.

The owner was really accommodating and the atmosphere was friendly. The area was perfect, in the middle of Hongdae with food, bars, clubs and 24hr convenience store a few footsteps away. My only gripe was construction work being done nearby about 8am in the morning but even with that, I'd stay there again.

Since I was expecting a hostel with a reception desk, I was a bit surprised to step into a living room. However, my stay was just as good as, maybe even better than I would have expected from a "regular" hostel. The only disadvantage worth mentioning is that lockers are fairly small (a phone or wallet fits in, but a laptop doesn't) and that the door works with a code only.

Place was a little hard to find but the staff were so helpful they came to find us :-), we stayed in Backpackers 2 and it was super clean and really comfortable. Will definitely stay there again :-). Best of all, fantastic location really near to Hongdae night life and shopping :-)
