worst place i ever been!!!

I loved the stay there. I just dont liked the fact that i went away from the albergue some days before my check out, and i left like a week before a note of that situation, and they didnt reimburse those days that were unused by me.

Chaotic front desk. (The beach in Barra is a dirty garbage can)

I really enjoyed my experience at the hostel Albergue do Porto. The staff is so nice, the rooms have perfect space and the wc's are clean enough to feel confortable. The location is perfect and the prince is fair! ;)

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hostel had a good vibe. The hostel is very well located with buses connecting to the ferry port as well as the historical centre. The hostel was relatively clean but the mattresses were very thin and hard. The only difficulty was that we needed to amend our travel dates and having emailed the hostel on several occasions we got no response and had some trouble amending the dates on arrival due to `"late notice".

Only 1 staff member could speak English which is rather frustrating considering the international clientele.

Everything seems very dirty and the mattress seems to be a wood with some sheets. The breakfast is very poor, besides some fruits, just bread and butter. Also, if you have more then 1,90 meter, don't book the private room.

The vibe & location was great, but the entire place needed a solid scrub down. The refrigerator did not work, was filthy and stinky.

Me gusto la ubicacion y las instalaciones luego el staff deja mucho que desear responden todo de mala gana y no ofrecen actividades para hacer en la ciudad.

bed too hard, and bedroom very small and cramped. but staff nice and place with character.
