For the price and friendliness of Staff you can not complain. I enjoyed my stay close to John Hopkins and that's all I required.

Only minor problem was arriving by car, limited parking in laneway behind is not marked for the hostel. So had to park on street initially to check in.

Worth the money! I was blown away with the cleanliness of the hostel because this is the cleanest hostel that I have ever been. I felt comfortable sleeping in my bunk bed although I shared the room with several other guys. I like the policy that the hostel management made i.e. to prohibit the use of electronic devices like laptop or phone in the bed room. That's why the shared bed room remains quiet and comfortable to sleep in. For safety, use the locker in the room and bring your own padlock.

Staff is really kind and friendly. Just one night but it was nice stay. Location is also nice: just a few minutes walk to the main street and circulator. Though I had to leave for another city, I wanted to stay longer. I would like to rate SUPER excellent.

Very cool 1830 brownstone in walking distance of everything downtown, right across from the oldest cathedral in the US. Friendly, very clean, 4 common rooms to hang out in, reliable wifi, grocery and bars nearby, close to light rail stop, lots of extension cords for your electronics, lights at each bed, and a baby grand with lots of sheet music.

The location is perfect. I walked every day to the Pier area and had no problems. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Showers need new heads since they are somewhat clogged with mineral deposits. Sheets and towels are nice. Everyone there was considerate and I had a great stay. I would recommend it to my friends.

Just change in the directions the details about Megabus. No need to to walk from the Whitemarsh Park and Ride to CAMPBELL BLVD & the HAMPTON INN (Walk towards the Ikea and cross Honeygo Blvd). The bus #35 comes just in front of Sears. People will save time and energy!!

Everything's fine, but not the best. Satisfying, but better if hot water is more steady and more tourist information are provided. Great they have a piano.

it was good. I stayed there becuase I had to take morning flight at BWI. so, I didn't expect that much. however, the hostel was really good. free pancake breakfast and internet and laundry service were the best. :D

This was my first hostel experience. I agree with the comments left on Hi-Baltimore guest book - it was a very nice experience - I felt lucky to have started with the one of the best hostels - other hostelers left such comments in the guest book - and they had been at many. I stayed for 6 nights and every staff person was gracious, kind and helpful. I plan on going back

The safest I have ever felt in a hostel, pin codes for front door and bedroom doors, and a firm rule of not letting anyone through the front door. Shower room in bedroom could use an extractor fan as the mould and mildew have turned the ceiling tiles black which wasn't very pleasant, over all very clean. Main grievance was the incredibly irritating flashing lights in the bedroom! I don't know what they do but I had one plugged in either side of my bed and the proved very annoying at night!
