Good breakfast, beautiful place. Room was too small, they should provide padlocks.

The hostel looked really nice from outside and we were really impressed as we were shown to our room because there was a nice area outside to relax and a swimming pool. However the staff were rude, the room was unclean and the kitchen was rubbish! The staff did not tell us about breakfast. There were bugs in our room that climbed into my bed which was disgusting! There wasn´t any cutlery in the kitchen so after we had cooked dinner my friend and I had to share a spoon to eat our meal!

Breakfast is great! But the hostel has more a hotel felling to it!

Great Hostel, good staff. Just a little far from city downtown and from beautiful beaches, but at least closed to the harbour. Rooms are usually clean and not to crowded. The common zones are beautiful.

All the hostels in Ilhabela aren't next to the beaches, so it's necessary to take a bus, that's uncomfortable. People from the staff are polite, very good breakfast, the swuimming pool needs to be cleaned please!! There were "lockers" without padlock, it'd be better if they had space for that.

It is not cheap for a hostel. But the hostel facilities are great and there are not lots of options The best place to be is at "Vila" district, but there are no hostels there. Even though, you can take the buses or rent a bike to go to the others villages and beaches. Be prepared to face non-english speakers only! Download a dictionary on your smartphone. The weirdest thing is that you have to put on the bedding by your own. They provide it clean, but they ask you to put on and bring back.

Very unacommodating and unfriendly staff. Made no effort to provide a solution to a 30°C + room. Weren't friendly during check in or check out, nor did they offer to provide and service or assistance with booking activities, buses to São Sebastião. Great atmosphere and nice facilities.

The Hostel had a great atmosphere, the room smelled bad - I stayed in one of the 6 bed dorms

You should be more careful with the cleaning and perhaps do something about the mosquitoes

Pay a little bit more and ask for private rooms with air conditioning, totally worth it at night.

Great location. Best hostel I've ever been to. Definitely recommend a stay there. Would have loved to stay longer.

I have stayed at many HI properties in many countries, including Brazil, and I was really shocked that HI approves the Bonns Ventos on Ilhabela, Brazil. I would love to describe to you everything that was disappointing (so unclean, staff completely unhelpful, no locks on the rooms, no bed sheets etc.) but I only have 180 characters in this box.

Lovely breakfast, with a wide variety of fruit, helpful staff with friendly and helpful attitude, the garden and the reception hall is full of flowers. Its decorated in Asian style and gives you a very relaxed atmosphere. Beach is just next door from the hostel. Sandros the tour guide of the hostel is so much fun! He organizes trips to the waterfalls and snorkelling too. The size of the rooms. should be a bit bigger.

The hostel sports East Asian decor, with little ponds with Buddhist statues and fish along with beautiful art of lotus flowers and hindu gods. The hostel is in the Perequê beach neighborhood, near the ferry and also near the commercial center of the island. The breakfast is delicious. The rooms are no frills but are clean with big lockers and hot showers. The biggest deception was the pool, which was small and merky, however the view from the pool deck was beautiful, looking onto the water.
