We used this Hostel to stay at overnight as we arrived late into Buffalo airport on the way to Niagara Falls/Toronto area. It was a good place to sleep for the night and get a hot shower in the morning. Buffalo seems like a really dive though, so I wouldn't recommend staying any longer.

This was my third time there, and the first one where the internet is free, good of them to follow the latest trends. Still have to make special arrangements to check in outside the hours of 8-10 am and 5-10:30 pm though, fortunately for me on this trip it wasn\'t an issue.

The hostel itself is nice and the location is good. But visit Buffalo just for the Niagara Falls cause there isn't anything else to see or do in Buffalo.

Like most of the reviews, Buffalo is pretty much just a stopover b4 Niagra Falls and the town is pretty dead around the hostel. Allen st has a couple of cool bars and the locals are pretty friendly. The hostel itself lacked any sort of social aspect but was clean and secure and cheap. So yeah was pretty much all I was expecting.

Although Buffalo was kind of quite the hostel was great, it was really clean and had a good kitchen. I liked the fact that it had a seperate lounge and tv. Staff were great

Apparently ceased to be an HI hostel just before I arrived, but as you\'d expect, it\'s still therefore better run than most independent hostels even if it lacks the character or personal touch. Security excellent with key card access and location in Buffalo is good along main street. The problem is Buffalo itself, which is mainly dead, although venture over to Chippewa street and find the bars and the nightlife is excellent. Good place to stay overall if you\'re in the area.

Clean and safe. You can\'t ask for much more from a hostel. And this hostel doesn\'t give you any more than that. Being the only hostel in the Buffalo area, you really have no choice but to stay here. The common area is very nice though and the free to use guitars were a nice touch.
