Some guests do not clean the dishes but the kitchen is always clean. The location is awesome. This hostel provides free breakfast. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Great HI hostel...probably the best I've been to! Although HI hostels usually lack the traditional hostel character, Calgary have clearly put some effort into the problem...and I was surprised when I arrived. Great location next to downtown, I was minutes away from where I wanted to be, and when it got too cold it was a short walk home! Atmosphere and staff are good, and the breakfast was tasty!
