We planed 2 days and ended up beeing there for 10 days, that should say everything. The owner Nino and his staff Roberto are really fun guys. We liked the big patio with pooltable, tabletennins, tv and hamock. Breakfast until 12 is perfekt and you get breadrolls, ham, cheese, sweets, yogurt, juice, coffee.... only the the kitchen needs a bit maintenance. Sure its not in the center but with a shared taxi its 1US to get there. If you wanna have a good situation in the end, just bring a mango :-)

-breakfast: very, very minimal. -atmosphere: loud rock music all day, also loud music until 1am or later in the patio where all the rooms are next to -location: normally wouldn't complain, but you really need taxi ride. costs money in the end -afterwards stayed in Arica Surf House for two nights, definitely the best hostel i've been in for ages. location, dorm, breakfast, everything.

Roberto is probably the most committed hostel manager in the entire universe. With plenty of character the hostel is mostly recommended for backpackers.

We had a great time at this hostel. The location is a little out of the way, but Roberto more than makes up for it!
