The room smelt of urine, but we got used to it. Main problem was the lady didn't have time to take our money and, although she assured us that there would be someone there in the morning who we could pay... there wasn't. Please could you send me your bank details so I could make a bacs payment? Many thanks.

This was a great stay. keep up the good work.

Good location for train station, beach, pubs etc. Nice clean hostel. Free breakfast is always a plus point. One downside is that toilets in the dorms also double as shower cubicle with a curtain to pull across half the room. They are very cramped and toilet floor will be soaking if person before you does not clean up properly. However, do not let this put you off as the fact that the shower/toilet is only for use by those in your room (6 beds in my case) is a rare luxury for these prices.

you cant check in until 5 pm because there is no-one at reception.

The hostel was basic but ok. What I did't like was the fact that checkin was at 17.00 hrs, breakfast was only from 8 to 9 and check out at 10. And reception was closed during the day.
