HI-Edmonton is surrounded by mature trees and lies on a quiet and safe residential street, located one block south of Whyte Avenue and minutes from Edmonton's historic Old Strathcona neighbourhood; this area makes up Edmonton's most prominent arts and entertainment district. Independent live theatre and films, copious pubs and clubs along with a multitude of restaurants are all clustered together to form an unrivaled local arts and culture scene. Whyte Avenue is also home to many trendy shops and cafes, so if your pleasure is people watching and mixing with the coolest Edmontonians this is your type of destination.

And security is important, that's why we have personal backpack-sized lockers for each bed.

Travelling with a laptop? All rooms and common areas have free WiFi, so you can surf the net or e-mail friends. Don't have a laptop, we also have timecard Internet kiosks.

Rates quoted are for Hostelling International members. If you are not a member, a surcharge of 10% per person per night will be due upon arrival at the hostel.

Package is available from June 1 September 30. It is only valid for 8-bed or 2-bed dorms.
