Very clean, quiet and tranquil. The rooms are decent sized, and the place is slightly out of town so it's away from all the tourist bustle. The staff are quite friendly, but they won't go out of their way to help you with anything. My mates and I stayed here for the Tour of Flanders cyclosportive, and it was absolutely perfect for that. We had a good night's rest before and after the sportive and race, and we were allowed to keep our bikes inside the room. Warning - there's no kitchen!

Great breakfast, decent location. Could have used some secure storage--and it was odd that the bathrooms and showers are closed during the middle of the day

The hostel could have a kitchen for the guests to use and a bigger locker. The free wifi with tickets could be replaced by only one password e login name , because it is really bad having to ask for a lot of tickets and it also doesn`t work well on mobiles... Besides it, the location was good, close to the city center and the atmosphere was also good, with nice staff.

The room and the breakfast were good, every was really clean and the common areas were ok... the staff didn't show any kindness towards us. And it's true that is not in the centre of Bruges but walking takes 10minutes.

The staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. The internet worked well but had to keep getting tickets with login codes (tickets are free and for 2 hrs). There was a sink inside the dorm room (6-person female), plenty of space and two nice desks. The one complaint I have is that there was no soap in the bathroom. There was soap in the room so this not a big deal. The breakfast was sufficient and was buffet style. The courtyard was very beautiful. Location great, close to main road.

The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable of Bruges. The rooms are nice and clean, however the mattress is more of a foam pad to sleep on. The breakfast they serve in the morning is wonderful, with a selection of meats, cheeses, breads, cereals, juices, and spreads. The downfall is the location. It is way too far from the city center. If you plan on staying out late, find a hostel closer to the city center.

The hostel is cheap, breakfast was good and room was okay. The staff was just terrible! Very rude and unprofessional. The information we received about the hostel was incorrect and the shower was ice cold!

Loved my stay here. Perfect location with a very short walk to the centre, free parking which was excellent as it would otherwise be difficult to park in Brugges. The most welcoming staff which provide all the tourist information you need. Very good breakfast, would definitely stay here again

Probably 15, 20 minute walk away from the centre of Brugges itself (if you're out late having a few drinks, have fun with that walk), so the location is a drag. Unfortunately, like many (but not all...) HI hostels, the atmosphere is cold and unwelcoming. The staff were alright, but not particularly warm; not much interaction with guests. Access to internet, but you have to pay for it...no thanks. Facilities are clean enough, enough toilets/showers. Biggest complaints: location, no character.

Showers where terrible no pressure at all. Long way out of town. Staff where not welcoming or friendly. Expensive Net. The place looks and feels like some kind of army basic training camp and everyone staying here seemed to be there purely due to everything in town being booked out for saturday night. The only redeeming factor was that the bartender was a great bloke to have a quiet beer and a chat to.

I left my room key in the key safe because I didn't want to take it to town. As a result I was locked out at the gate on the street. No intercom and no one answering the phone. Note a room key is for A room not every lock in the place...

There was no hot water in the morning. Even though there were not many guests, it's not on to say you can only have cold water.

It looks like an army camp. Moreover, the lady at the reception was very unfriendly and did some mistakes with my bookings.

All most every service cost, internet has a cost of 2 eu per 30 min. For the high price of the room, this just not woth it

Thoroughly decent place to stay. It may not be flash, but it's clean, well kept, staff are helpful and welcoming, breakfast is plentiful and overall very reasonably priced. The walk is 5-7 minutes to the edge of the old town, then probably another 5-7 to the main square. Recommended for those on a budget and just looking for a place to sleep while exploring Bruges.
