The place is very good, what i didnt like were the bathrooms. The breakfast is poor(at least there is some).

good position in florianopolis but very "cold atmosphere". it's ok to explore one day florianopolis before heading to the nice beaches and villages around. no activities organised to socialize at all or even suggestion where to go out or events around. wireless was not working at the staff said they couldn't do a phone call for us to confirm the booking in the next hostel because was not from their chain. breakfast ok.

Friendly staff, from the lady doing breakfast to the guys on reception and an excellent location. I thought breakfast was good with plenty of it. Very secure, each dorm has individual lockers which take a backpack, albeit it is a tight squeeze and you do need to bring your own padlock. I stayed my first two nights and went back for the last, partly because it was easier for a bus out the next morning. It can be a good base to tour different beaches. The front dorms can be noisey with traffic.
