By far one of the best hostels I´ve ever stayed in, and definitely the best on Ihla Grande. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is excellent, in a great jungle local but not too far from the center. Also, the breakfast is out of this world! Do not hesitate to book!

Incredible breakfast. Comfy beds. Clean. wonderful garden, social but not a party hostel. One small drawback is the size of the kitchen, please open the staff kitchen up to guests!!

Beautiful, beautiful hostel with a really chilled atmosphere. Wifi is pretty non existent but there's plenty of restaurants on the island you can get Wifi from

Amazing spot. Stayed in a little cabana. Cats became my best friends. Electricity randomly went out, but this was true for most of the island. Internet not good in the cabana's, but it works well in the central area. Decent breakfast. Ilha Grande is definitely worth a visit.

Stayed for 7 nights in Hi Holandes, there was a little walk up a hill via a slight winding path but worth it for the feeling of seclusion. Staff were helpful and all good English. The rooms and showers were great, very clean. Not a party hostel but still plenty of people to meet and great hammocks to chill out in. Island electricity and therefore wifi a little temperamental but part of the charm I think. Hostel perfectly facilitated chilling out. Downside, communal kitchen a little small.

Was a great stay.Hostel is awesome, close enough to the action.Felt really relaxed, didn't want to leave!

Hostel is a little walk away from the main part of town but it's not far. Could be better signposted (a sign on the hostel entrance would help). Being able to use the large kitchen instead of the tiny one for cooking dinner would be a big improvement. It seems strange not to let guests in a big hostel use this spacem instead it is kept for staff only & they only need it for breakfast time. Allow guests option of more than one piece of cheese & ham at breakfast, not everyone wants sweets/cake.

Not much going on, so not the ideal place for solo travellers. A little far from everything (up an hill). But beautiful suroundings and very very good value for money! It's more like an hotel then hostel. Lots of power cuts though (due to location I guess). I enjoyed my stay.

We stayed there five nights and had a great time. The breakfast is great, it is very clean and the staff is always smiling. It is a little bit out of the way which makes it a relaxed paradise. The beds are bigger than in any hostel we have ever stayed at. We would definitely recommend this hostel!

I loved that Hostel! Especially the atmosphere! The only thing is that the electricty went off a couple of times, so there is no light, warm shower or wifi than, but it seems like this is a problem of the whole island! Breakfast is good, rooms were nice and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Very good vibrations at that hostel. A very good place to stay for a longer time. Great breakfast.

Great staff, friendly and helpfull. Nice rooms, good beds. Ice cold beer! Nice dorms aswell as the private rooms! Great breakfest and hot koffee :) I reccomend this place for sure! The only minus, is that the place is not the most easy place to find the 1st time. (PLACE some extra nameplates or something)

Good hostel with a great outdoor undercover dinging area to be sociable in. The rooms were a decent size with lockers to store stuff and plugs by each bed but it is a trek away from the main pier uphill and steps!!

Really great atmosphere and lots of outdoor green space. The breakfast is great with lots of fresh fruit. Comfy beds and nice spacious dorms (well laid out so it doesn't feel like there's 8 people in there). Staff are nice and happy to book trips/transfers for you. It's a few mins walk away from the main road but such a nice hostel to stay at that it's worth not being right by the main pier. Would recommend to anyone visiting Ilha Grande.

Incredible hostel, really relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing breakfast. Would definitely stay again!

Very lovely place! Staff was helpful and welcoming. Sempre volto.

For an 8 bed dorm it's too expensive and I don't care if it's on an island. The place is nice but uphill so a bit hard to get there with a suitcase. The room is big and there is no AC for 8 beds only 6 beds which is too expensive. Breakfast isn't that great. Staff is excellent

This is a very good hostel. The staff even baked a cake for me when they found out it was my birthday. Will definitely come back.

Very cool laid back hostel. Ilha grande is amazing

Great Hostel. Friendly and approachable Staff. Great facilities, although the Wifi was often out. The place is settled in the hills a little away from the beach. But it makes for a relaxing get away after a long day. Highly recommended. Thanks for the hospitality.
