Good hostel, definitely suits the standards of Hostelling International. Comfortable beds and good breakfast. Quiet area, but still close to all the main activities. Would stay there again.

Good place to stay, in a nice place, surronded by nature. However, most showers have problems, as they are cold. The day we moved to a cotage for 2 people, we had a problem in the shower as well, but the staff fixed it quickly. The breakfast is good and most people are friendly. I would recomend them to put lockers in the cotages as well, as lockers were available only in the bedrooms.

It is really far away from the main pier (especially when you have a TON of luggage)

The welcome we got was pretty shocking, the guy hardly said a word to us, think we interrupted his tv watching. The room itself was really nice and clean, and the breakfast was decent, but I wouldn't stay there again just because it seemed so unfriendly. The directions from the boat aren't all that helpful, but there are plenty of people who will tell you if you ask.

we stayed in chalet. we liked clean room and new clean sheets, many trees around the hostel. we didn't like the unfriendly and uninterested staff, no wifi, location too fare away from the beach.

The double room was very nice and at a good price compared to Rio. I understand we are in a foreign country, but at a Hostelling INTERNATIONAL (that we have paid membership fees to stay at) I would have expected english-speaking staff who could give us advice about the island, or at least understand which day we want to check out. And the kitchen was pitiful, only one person could cook/wash dishes in there at a time, or two at a squeeze if you don't move at all. Forest setting was lovely.

We stayed four nights in a private cabin. The location was excellent, just a little distance out of the main town but idyllic surroundings and very chilled out. I would definitely recommend this hostel.

* Lovely location, full of nature around you. It's not in the "city center" but I definitly didn't want to be there. * Excellent breakfast. * Great bed matrix * Very clean! (it also depends on your roomates, but the hostel itself is clean) Nothing to complain, loved it!

This Hostel is one of the best Hostels we´ve ever been (and we were at many places, honestly!). Small huts, build in an swedish style and only two morebed-bungalows surrounded by a really beautiful tropical garden. Absolutely smashin´! The more-bed-rooms have also a hammock on their terrace, a good place to relax after sunset and enjoying the sound of the nearby jungle. During daytime you often can see the lovebirds searching for nectar at several tropical plants. What a great place to be!

Staff were not as friendly as we have become used to in Brazil but the accommodation itself was lovely - little chalet type buildings. Breakfast was average. The hostel is located slightly out of the village but this makes it peaceful and relaxed. No wifi.

Good location super close to the center, but be warned the tram mentioned in directions from train station is not running due to lengthy construction it\'s a 25-min walk or cheap cab. Cosmonaut theme was cool, lots of retro furniture, two common rooms works well, and the Wednesday vodka tasting was a good touch.
