The only downside was the quality (and quantity) of the breakfast. The coffee machine was broken (that happened last time I was there as well). The only savoury option to put on the bread was cheese which I cannot eat. Cereal option was only flakes, which don't work with hot water. But there's not a lot of choice in Brussels if you're over 35 and not a millionaire. Jacques Brel was better, but that's further out (near Botanic). Nearest main station Congress. Brueghel is walkable from Central.

This may be the worst hostel I've ever stayed in. Other than there being a bed, warmth, helpful staff and free breakfast, there was not much to like. There is no common room or kitchen, the bathrooms are small, mouldy and rusty, the wifi is terrible and patchy and the whole place is a bit run down. In short, it's missing basic facilities and needs a good clean up. It's not the worst hostel in the world, but you can do better

Nice location, but too expensive for what you get. Specially for a Private room.

There should be wifi in rooms . We took a twin sharing room with an attached bathroom, the bathroom had place to shower and a sink but with no toilet which was quite strange. The receptionist was very welcoming , friendly and helpful. The breakfast was basic and nice. We had a good stay overall.

Wifi does not work throughout the entire hostel, which is a huge negative as the common areas didn't feel welcoming to hang out in.

was a little too far from brussels zuid train station: not easy to get there and I lost my way. not all beds have a charging port either, so it's tricky.if everyone wants to.charge their phone at the same time. also no lockers in room!

About the facilities: I missed having a toilette in my room (but that`s ok, since I paied for a shared bathroom). The shower in my room took so long to get warm.

The location is very good and the staff are friendly. Apart from that very basic hostel. The biggest disadvantage is that there is a constant problem with warm water - you either have to wait a long time or at some hours there is no warm water at all. Also, would be more convenient if the reception stayed open also during the night

A very pleasant hostel which, in the main, is frequented by young travellers. Facilities were good including an excellent breakfast and the opportunity of buying an evening meal (complete with drink). There is a bar... I would recommend this hostel for anyone who is travelling to Brussels. It is handily placed for the historic centre of Brussels and only five minutes walk from Brussels Central rail station. The staff also speak several languages, including English and Spanish

Stayed there for 2 nights. The location is very good, breakfast good, otherwise the hostel is rather average but does the job. Wouldn't stay there for longer periods though.

No lockers in rooms, very clean though. A pretty good location. All around a pretty good hostel.

Near to the city centre and worth it for backpackers' stays! Would be better when the direction given from Central Station rather than from another main station.

It is well located but god damn it it so dirty, could it be the room, the toilets or the bathroom. Not welcoming at all, there is one good thing with this hostel: it is so awful you will for sure spend your time outside. I stayed two nights, there was no hot watter. I'm not kidding, for 30 euros the guys just told me 'I'm sorry, I can't do anything about this" and didn't even came to see if he could do something. Treated like animals.

Really poor accommodation.

Good hostel, in the very center of Brussels; clean and the staff was very helpful, especially Arnolds at the reception. Minuses: very small rooms and ridiculous internet connection limit

The hostel had a good atmosphere with huge lobby/waiting room. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Dining area was nice and breakfast was good. The hostel is in an excellent location.

it´s a typical Y but spacious room basic breakfast, bread, fruit, jam, the usual suspects. Friendly staff, perfect location, walk to many attractions. easy to find. just outside Centraal station.

In general it was ok. I reserved place for 2 nights but i have to leave earlier, and there was no problem with cancelation of reservation without fee. Stuff is very nice, breakfast was ok. Normaly wi-fi was free, but it was not working in my room, but signal was strong near reception, just to check mail it was ok.
