Very fun atmosphere. Very clean, with good facilities and free wifi. Met some great people here, and maybe some future friends!

Excellent location, facilities and staff, very clean and friendly. Great parking facilities and if it was warm enough we would have definitely used the pool! Highly recommended.

Great place to stay. The location was fantastic , minutes from food , bars and more. It was easy to Check in , staff was polite and helpful. Got Great recommendations and the atmosphere was very nice. Jessie in the front was friendly and very helpful With great recommendations. Only the night front desk guy was a rude to me and my friends as we were having dinner. He just needs to chill out. Outside of him though one the best travel experiences period and highly recommended.

Hi Christopher! Thank you for your feedback! I am so glad you had a great time at our hostel and in Houston! I am sorry that you had a bad experience with one of our overnight hostel staff. I can assure you that from now on there will never be another instance like this. I apologize for any service that was anything less than great! I hope you will come back and see us on your next trip to Houston! Thanks! Grace Marie, General Manager HI-Houston

In an old house in the nice neighbourhood of Montrose, this hostel is awesome. Very clean, spacious, with a pool and nice communal areas. However, it was near empty when I was there so there wasn't much of an atmosphere. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, but be aware that there are many gay bars nearby which may bother some people. It is only a 30 minute walk to the museums, zoo and hospital district, and 30 minute walk to downtown. I'd definitely stay there again.
