Breakfast was awful considering the price.

This is a great hostel. Comfortable beds, plenty of bathrooms, clean and safe with lockers in the rooms. Loved that it's a house that has been repurposed into a hostel so it feels very homey. Staff is nice and helpful and there are great common areas to meet people. Bus stop is 3 minutes away that gets you downtown easily. Highly reccomended!

Staff at the hostel was very good. Very helpful when I had questions about the area. Rooms were nice and clean and the pool was a nice addition to the place! The location was great, only about a 20 min walk to downtown and the total cost for 3 nights stay was really nice!

This is a nice hostel, if you already have things planned to do in Houston, but not the sort of place you're likely to meet other travellers and party with them (the no alcohol rule pretty much guarantees that). It's in a great area though, the staff are really helpful, and the house itself is beautiful, with very nice communal areas, a pool, good wi-fi, and an adequate, if somewhat bland, free breakfast.

Location is in a leafy neighbourhood with some great bars and restaurants nearby. Roughly a 30-40 minute walk to the Museum District, and Houston isn't really geared up for public transport. Staff were pleasant enough but not hugely engaging, but the hostel inhabitants always seemed to be great fun and from all walks of life and all ages. In terms of security it seemed that other guests often left dorm doors open, which was exasperating, but lockers are available. Lovely outside area and pool.

Hostel has very good location, even it's not a downtown. It's very clean, has a pool and nice patio. Staff is friendly and ready to help. Good value for money.

staff are pretty friendly here. rooms are clean and there is a toilet and shower in the dorm rooms which is good. staff were always on hand to give good directions and advice on what to do and see. Out of all the hostels i stayed in during my trip this one had the best breakfast- nothing fancy but it included fruit which was a big thumbs up. It also had a swimming pool. in the summer when it gets really hot in houston this would be a God send

Had no complaints at all with this hostel though if I'm being picky the air con at night is a tad too cold! Very clean, warm welcoming staff willing to answer any question, general nice neighbourhood with restaurant/bars nearby and bus outside your door will get you to downtown. Very relaxing stay getting to chill by the pool and catch up with some reading.

Hi ! Thank you for your great feedback. We are replacing one of our our air con units this year and out thermostats as they do not read the correct temperature in the room. We apologize the room was a bit cold, while you stayed with us! Come and check us out next year. Thanks again!

I enjoyed staying here and would come back again. The hostel was very clean and comfortable although the location wasn't great for downtown. There also wasn't a huge choice for breakfast

Very clean with great staff! The beds were extremely comfortable and the private room was nicer than my apartment at home.

I loved the pool it was great, the location is also good pretty close to the center of the city or galleria (shopping center) the only bad thing for me were the restrooms not so clean. A part for that I can recommend that place for sure.

We had a lot of trouble on our first morning. The first room we were in the hot tap had broken, the air con had broken and there was only 3 sockets in the extension lead that would work, 1 occupied by the fan. We were straight away moved to another room, great. Until the next morning when we again had cold showers and were offered by a different member of staff another upgrade...seems like they have this problem alot to do that. Alot of money for nothing special.
