Should be better for an HI hostel. Receptionist was friendly enough but didn't give us any information about anything. Kinda felt like we were staying in someones house rather than a large hostel chain. Bugs in the rooms didn't help and rooms weren't the cleanest. Breaky was average.

This was one of the best hostels I have stayed in in South America. The setting was beautiful and it is the perfect place to relax and unwind after the madness of Carnivale or Salvadore in general. It is close to a beautiful, quiet beach and a stunning river where they sell beer whilst you watch the sunset. The rooms were clean and on saturday night the owner made the best pizza i have tasted in Brasil! all in all it was a very positive experience.

Our stay in the hostel was very relaxed and we enjoyed it, after a long trip over five weeks through Brazil, a lot! It was perfect to hang around and to get a rest from the weeks of traveling. The Breakfast and the Hostel are amazing! Roberto and Karla are very nice owner and they help ever they can. The rooms and bathrooms are very comfortable and nice (with balcony or frontsquare and hangmak´s) and get cleaned every day perfectly. Just the little boxes in the rooms have to get repaired.

Located in a quiet area it´s a great option for nature seekers. By car location isn´t a problem, there´re indications all the way around. Fruit trees, birds, hammocks and a delicious breakfast are part of this place.
