Stayed one night so didn't get to experience any activities run by the hostel. The cafe in the hostel is fantastic and the hostel is more like a hotel, it's just beautiful - Lake Louise is pretty too. Great Building. Pool table not free, Spa is. Internet was not working. Location about as good as you are going to get in the area - would not like to be there without a vehicle. TV room, laundry and Spa all shutdown at 10 - not so good if you are watching live hockey. All these are on lower floor well away from dorms. 1 washer and 1 dryer broken, leaving struggle to use the other 2 of each. LOADS of lockers. Full of serious x-country skiiers - early to bed. Everything was great, just missed out on reading in our room - the lighting in there is very poor for reading and not everyone has a headlamp! A lovely hostel with a quaint wooden common room. We had the loft bed with a roof window and a mountain view. The cafeteria has good food and the kitchen is very big and well-equipped. Also, you can buy your own alcohol in the store and consume it in the kitchen or games room. Room nice size, cleand and decent beds. Bathroom clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Nice social environment and good activities.
