Beautiful building in a lovely location, great for aki slopes, and very easy for lovely walks, cross country skiing. Good hire shop locally with HI discount and helpful staff. The was room a bit compact, two bed private, as limited bits to help with unpacking, eg hanging rail, hooks, shelf. Hostel are already aware, and grateful for feedback. But the rest was good and well looked after. The steam room was a bit if a bonus!

We were in and out quickly so didn't use much of the facilities (just a bed for a night's sleep after a long day hike in the area) and for that it was great. Clean and reasonably quiet, and I've stopped in at the attached Bill Peyto cafe on a number of equations - great option for reasonably priced meals in Lake Louise. Great location, looked like fun if you had time to hang around longer.

It was great. Hostel was very peaceful and comfortable. If u have a enough time to stay in lake Louise, I recommend this hostel. :)

Though I hate the "HI membership or gimme 10% more" thing, the hostel is very nice. to reach the bed I had to climb a 5m ladder, but it is fine for a hiker hostel. The bonefire is a nice idea, but perhaps needs some animation... it was quite boring! the bar for the breakfast (not included!!!!) opens way to late... there are hikers in your facility, you cannot make them wait until 10am for breakfast (the other options in town are even worse: either too packed, either too expensive).

Excellent hostel in the Rockies. Location is perfect to explore area around Lake Louise. If you have a car Jasper National Park is not too far neither. Small, but clean and cozy rooms. Efficient staff and well equipped kitchen. There is even a restaurant adjacent to the hostel which seems to offer good value for money.

Very small private room, couldn't open our suitcases in it. Room was very hot even though the heater wasn't on, so we had to keep the window open all night which was noisy from the train line. The walls are super thin and we could hear thumping below, above and beside us. Great cafe and was very clean.

No place for luggage except under the bed (locker). Very hard to get your things. Except that, everything was fine. Good little restaurant.

The hostel is really well situated if you have a car. There's a free parking available. You can walk to all types of restaurants nearby. If you have a car, I think it's better to stay there than in Banff because the Lakes and Columbia Icefield are nearer. The hostel is very clean and the staff is helpful. There is no breakfast included and Internet can be really slow sometimes. Our room was separated : 2 beds downstairs and 3 beds on the mezzanine offer some intimacy. I recommand this hostel.

A good hostel in an amazing area. The scenery is beautiful and I loved being able to see the mountains from my room.

This is more of a hotel rather than hostel. Maybe except the bunk beds. Still, very nice, very good.

The facilities are fine, especially the common room, but the railway is really noisy at night.
