IDEALLY, THE LOCATION IS ON THE LAS VEGAS STRIP AND THE RTC (DEUCE) BUS LINE. THE ADJACENT AREAS ARE SAFE, DAY AND NIGHT AND IN CLOSE PROXIMITY TO SEVERAL INEXPENSIVE EATERIES. THE STRATOSPHERE IS EASILY WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE, AND THE OCCASIONAL LOCAL VAGRANT(S) POSE NO THREATS/PROBLEMS, IN MY EXPERIENCE.

While this hostel is 'on the strip' you are quite far away from the actual action - it's not particualrly walkable. The area is quite bad - I wouldn't feel safe walking through it at night. While there is a free breakfast and access to the kitchen, there is pretty much nothing in it. The rooms are very clean and spacious and it's good there is a fridge in them. I wouldn't recommend this place.

In overall I met a good bunch of International this is only because the American guests of the hotel were staying all day long playing games or watching tv. also half of the guest are staff because they stay for free to help the business. I originally wanted to try the limo tour then its really put me off because people were only staff only thinking of drinking . The area is not safe at all, homeless people around the entrance all day long being really rude. the deuce is right in front

Hostel is part of a Motel that has been converted to a Hostel. Staff are nice & very helpful. Free breakfast is good & nice late time slot (9-11)! Located near the Stratosphere, it's not the best of locations but the Deuce bus (which runs up & down the strip $7 for 24hrs) stops nearby. Would suggest using the Stratosphere stop instead of the one closest to the hostel when heading south. Also if you can spare a day, the trip to the Grand Canyon is a must!

Probably the cheapest place you can stay on the Strip, facilities are more than basic but ok for a backpacker. No lockers, breakfast included is ok (add your own fruits & bacon & eggs and it's fine). It's located between strip clubs and the interresting casino section of LV Boulevard (the Strip), riding the bus to the south casinos can take up to an hour during traffic hours so be advised.

A nice hostel with great staff. The dorm rooms were fine and they have a really good shared living room. You can reach the strip with a bus for $7 a day. The neighborhood is a bit scary though, because there are many hobos (the bus stop is near, so it was ok for me). Use the airport shuttle when getting there!

We had a great stay. Lucky enough to be upgraded into a lovely private room, with some real homey touches. Absolutely adored the bathroom. The staff are lovely and very happy to help. The area is a little sketchy. We were a little uncomfortable at night outside the motel/hostel area, but felt quite safe inside.
