For those traveling by bus:

From the Tietê Bus Station (the main and biggest bus station in São Paulo): Take the bus with the company called Litoranea which passes through Maresias. To make enquiries by phone call. Pay Attention! Maresias doesn't have a bus Station. You must stop in Maresias by the cemetery or the 24 hours Bradesco cash point (ATM), be careful as this is not the last stop for the bus. You are now only 150 meters from the hostel. Cross the road and take the track which runs along side the cemetery and take the first turning on your right. We are situated 90 meters from here on the left hand side of the road. The journey lasts approximately 3 and a half hour by bus.

Getting here from the airport:

From the São Paulo Airports Cumbica (international flights) or Congonhas, catch the bus straight to the Tietê bus station. Follow the above directions.
