Charged me greater than expected. It's decent but perfectly unremarkable.

I arrived on the 1st of January with two friends and immediately our impressions took a bad turn. No hot water throughout the hostel and the staff didn't know when the problem would be fixed. To make matters worse, our dorm room was so tiny that one person would barely have enough room, never mind three. To close the bathroom door, we had to twist ourselves against the shower and the toilet. The so called bar crawl laughably consisted of only two pubs and was depressingly tame.

This is one of my favorite hostels! One caveat: If you are not an HI member then it's going to cost between $8-$10 more per night than the cost that's quoted on Hostelworld.

This was a great place. I have stayed at 3 or 4 hostels over the past few years and this was the best one. It is a bit expensive, but they upgrade me and two of my pals into a private room for free so definitely worth the money. Everything was great but I would recommend to bring your own sheets because the ones they provided were clean but a bit scratchy. Overall very good experience.

I really enjoyed my stay, had a good time. The staff were particularly helpful and sociable. They were also very flexible when it came to meeting my needs. Thanks

This was my first experience at a hostel and in saying so, it was a great one. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the facilities were very clean, and I always felt safe and secure. This hostel is very suitable for young travelers looking for an economical place to stay. The only downfall was that the cafe/bar did not accept credit cards/ visa.

Welll, the location is good but in the winter it is so cold. I could'nt sleep well at night due to the weak heat.

We loved the staff and the whole hostel has very friendly atmosphere. But we ordered 10 bed female and shared room with males! - We were really glad we didn't have to stay much longer in that condition. Otherwise awesome, even for next time it will be our number one choice. Thank you! :-)

This was my second stay with the hostel. It was just as good as the last. I really enjoy the staff. They are all very helpful and accommodating. I also purchased a Hi membership. It was about 30 dollars (for a US Membership). It was well worth it because the discount applied to all of us in our group. There were 6 of us.

the hostel was great, everything about it. we were able to hang out in the 'common' area and met lots of new people even when our stay was one night. only thing is for the lockers - you have to bring your own lock.

Nice, clean, centrally located hostel. It would be nice if it was more clearly stated that the advertised price is for Hostelling International members.

Really nice hostel, with a bar and cool common area, close to town and if your a hockey fan, only a block away from Centre Bell, recommend it!

Great Hostel. I did the tour to the old part of town on a Friday and it was really great. The guide was fantastic. The hostel is really friendly, helpful staff, and good location. The main downer is no breakfast included like many other hostels, but instead of breakfast you get a cafe/bar with beer on tap that also serves a good selection of well priced food.
