The shower at room 202 didn't work good. Breakfast not included. :( Otherwise everything was great!

it was an average place. Nothing to make it stand out but there was nothing particularly wrong with it either. There's a bar downstairs but it doesn't have a lot of atmosphere. On the plus side it's quiet at night.

The only complaint I have is about the heat. The air condition, we were told by the staff, was working in our room but it never got cold enough. Also you couldn't open the windows which made the room stuffier, hotter and smaller. Other than that, the location is excellent.

This hostels is very on par with others I have stayed in abroad. In my opinion it was very over priced for what we received. Yes the rooms and bathroom were clean but for ~40$ a bed and no breakfast included (not even coffee) it was not worth it.

One critique: The ticket for the bus to the airport is in direct change in Loonies and Toonies only. The staff at HI-Montreal said you needed direct change at the bus but did not mention that you had to pay in either one dollar or two dollar coins (or mix of both). I was planning to pay in quarters so I could not get on and could have missed my flight.

I had a great stay! Very clean, other guests are quiet in the rooms at night and respectful. Beds are quite comfy, though could have used another pillow... but that\'s just me! The daytime activities are fun and you get to socialize with other guests which is nice. I gave the staff an average rating, because some of them are really awesome, but a couple of the bartenders are not friendly at all. :( I would definitely come back here, the location is perfect!

This was the most fun hostel I've ever stayed in! The pub crawls were awesome, I met so many cool people. 10 bed dorms were hokey compared to the rest of the dorms definately recommend paying a little extra to be in a smaller room. Very clean and good location.

Only one shower and bathroom for a dorm of ten is definitely not enough in the morning. At least additional mirrors and washbasins would help, or extra toilets on the floor. No free breakfast!

Nice place in central location. Very close to St. Catharines Street (shopping area), train station and Centre Bell (Hockey Stadium). WiFi sometimes a bit weak. Bed was really ok. In the 10 bed dorm it can be a bit hard in the morning to get your shower... Bar downstairs is good value.

Decent stay, However some of the features advertised on the website were not there. Namely the free pancakes! -Also! BEWARE if you are not a member of the hostel chain.. then the prices on this website are not what you are paying. Despite the fact that my quote was quoted at 84 dollars for three nights it actually turned out to be closer to 120. Not cool! That makes a six bedroom dorm in a backpackers about 40 bucks a night, which is way too much!

Great stay, really close to everything and was very clean. Wi-fi was very fast and it was easy to meet people. The tours that are offered are also great. One thing I was slightly annoyed about was upon arrival I was made to pay $30 more than anticipated. The prices on Hostelworld are for members only, so keep that in mind when you book.

Nice location, interesting walking tours and good to meet people. Staff was very helpful. The rooms were very small and kind of hot at night. Not very clean. There is only one washroom per dorm.
