A beautiful place to stay! I didn't try the sauna but I'm sure I'll come back!
Self contained hostel in the wilderness. Only annoying thing is you can't check in until 5pm.
Nice little place to stay, right out in the wilderness, would have liked a shower and few other city comforts like a coffee in the morning but as I said this is out in the sticks, its real bear country and right next to the river, just make sure you take some food and beers as the nearest food store is lake louise about 10 miles away. A homemade sauna, campfire and the landscape alone are worth the money though. Recommended.
It is a lovely hostel and we enjoyed our stay. It would be nice if the hostel could put in a shower cubicle where one could use the sprinkling can shower system to wash up a bit after a long day hiking. Otherwise, it was a very nice stay for a more primitive hostel.
