Stayed during the World Cup, ok hostel in general - but they charged insane amounts of money for normal, standard, basic hostel dorms during the Cup.

We enjoyed our stay during the World Cup. Staff were lovely but it was overpriced for what we got. Breakfast needs to be improved significantly, and the 'kitchen' is pathetic so don't plan on cooking. But location is great once located and close to great restaurants. They organize tours too which were good although no real tour guide - more of a private driver scenario. Which has both benefits and negatives.

Hostel was extremely overpriced for the world cup. However it was in a decent location and was clean + secure. In a decent location, about a 10 minute walk from the main square. Friendly staff.

This place was aweful. Just plain aweful. Stayed there during the World Cup because there was no other accommodation available, the price was through the roof and the facilities were not up to scratch. Lights and toilets that didn't work, doors that didn't close etc. despite booking a 9 bed dorm I ended up in a 20 bed dorm. Breakfast was good because it was a voucher for a nearby cafe and there was one good staff member who was helpful.

the whole place was a joke. having a toilet in the shower, electric wires coming out of the shower, globes not changed to use the facilities. Over priced!!! Do you check these hostels before you advertise them

For price in which I booked - excellent option. For original price which is in hostel - run a way ;)

The staff is friendly, and especially Ruy is very welcoming and helpful. The hostel is very centrally located, near a number of nightlife options and good transportation. There is a decent breakfast and very good wifi. You can book tours to Pantanal, Chapada, Nobres, etc. from the hostel at reasonable prices. The tour to Pantanal that I booked was decent, though you may not have all the frills you will get on a more expensive package. This is probably your best budget option in Cuiaba!

Unfortunately this hostel is only a shadow of its advertised facilities. While breakfast was Ok, there is NO swimming pool, no restaurant, no bar, limited hours to use the kitchen and a charge to use it, a poor excuse for a common room. and the "tour desk" provided limited info for ONE option with a local 'guide' who while being a nice guy, has limited knowledge of the area. The 50R/- charged for transport to the airport is a blatant scam. Organise your own taxi.

stayed for 3 nights, and would come back even though the hostel has some drawbacks. positive: funny and very friendly staff at reception, thank you!! free good Wifi (which you need to find any information)! Comfortable beds and good showers! negative: not a single word of English spoken, but conversation works through Google translate at reception computer; overpriced, e.g. the airport transfer service: metered taxi fare is 24, the hostel charges 50.

The staff is helpful, but a quite disorganized. I did a reservation for 3 nights on hostelworld, but when i arrived there. they told me that they just had coletives rooms. its not a really problem to me, but they should have told it before i arrived. The proces is a quite high as well. The ower didnt accept my deposit from hostelworld just after I showed him my receptwhich i needed to print out it.
