It was cheap so good value for money. If you're looking for atmosphere there's none here, the hosel is pretty big and there was only one other person staying in it when I stayed here on a Friday night (and they definitely didn't fit the youth description). But it was fine for me because I didn't come to socialise this time and I got the whole dorm to myself which was great. The staff were nice and breakfast was better than I expected for a cheap hostel.
Overall a decent hostel. Security was quite poor - the front gate is rarely closed so anyone can just walk in. If someone in your room opens the balcony door then it can be easily accessed from five other rooms. Location was picturesque but far from tourist area. Staff were OK overall but, strangely, seem to leave the phone ringing for minutes at a time whilst sitting there. Doesn't help the atmosphere. More of a family/ school group place than backpackers. Some good facilities including pool
I had a good stay there, the receptionist was really friendly and helpfull. The only ennoying thing is the keycard, I had to came Fifty times because the card did not functioned.. Otherwise the swimingpool is nice, and it is a great spot to meet people when you travel by your own!
