Great Hostel, I especially liked that they had a back patio for socializing. The rooms were clean and so were the bathrooms. I felt very cosy and it's in a great location.

Its very difficult to find parking in the area Beds are not very comfortable & being metal spring based they sqeak whenever anybody moves However the hostel area has much going for it and the excellent staff and great info boards on local places and activities, make up for much

Only two bathrooms for an entire floor. Bathrooms had soap dispenser but no paper towels or hand dryer. Location was a little far from the city center but in a nice and quiet area, right by a park. The "light breakfast" really was light. Only some bread, jam and peanut butter. Everything seemed to cost extra. I wanted to print one page only, a file that I already had on my flashdrive. However, they made me pay a dollar to use 15 minuted of the internet, even though I only needed to print.....

There are some extremes still I rate average good. Most staff are very helpful but one or two are cool and not necessary extra checking facilities seems note to you take aware of. Most facilities are very clean but one or two not clean, such as room towels, bed sheet and blanket seems have not changed from first hand to second hand travellers.

You couldn't ask for a better location to get to all of Portland's sights. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable about the area, everything was clean, and, best of all, the rent bikes AND provide breakfast! Just so you know, though, it's not a party hostel, everything gets locked down at 10.

Without a doubt the best HI hostel I've stayed in - such a nice surprise. The staff's local knowledge, the volunteers running the evening activities, the all-around friendliness of this place - in an awesome location walking distance from everything - really make it great.

Located in a beautiful victorian house, but not really near anything. Walkable to places though, and close to the MAX line. Facilities are really great (how water in a bathtub!!!

Loved the garden. Best hostel I stayed in the US! n. Only complaint was that room 6 was close to the front desk so was a bit noisy when the door opened and closed. And this is minor. Thanks again for a lovely stay.

It was a great place to stay! The staff was very warm and helpful with any information i needed. the Community kitchen is very spacious and so is the dining area. My room was a bit cold during the night, but they provided extra blankets to stay warm... The location is the best part. walkable to anything you need... This is a great hostel..

Very convenient location within walking distance to downtown. The kitchen is a nice place to meet people while cooking dinner at the same time. Thanks for the free mini breakfast. We had an enjoyable stay.

Good location, very clean, quiet, has a garden, the stuff is friendly. The coffee and the bread are amazing. Not a party hostel, but I am not a party person.

Nice hostel with great staff. Especially liked the bread they had last Sunday, it was like in Germany. One thing I didn't like were the old water taps, some of them were lose or leaking. Location is not in the middle of the center but there are bars and restaurants around.

Great location to the Pearl District, bars and restaurants. Everything downtown is within walking distance. The hostel is also welcoming, they organize social events and the rooms and bathrooms are very clean. I had a very comfortable stay there.
