Hostel is near the river and ocean and has a nice view from the common room. It wasn't in the city center, but you can't have both in Porto: ocean and center. There was only 1 common PC with internet for use and not too many sockets in common room and in the room itself. There was a tv set and some football games but that's all if it goes about facilities. The breakfast was really good and included in the prize, which was relatively cheap, although they could extend the breakfast hours.

Decent and tolerable hostel. Too many children. Too far from the city. Crappy wifi. Not a place to go if you wanna meet people. I ended up going back to Porto and did NOT choose to stay here again.

1) NOT friendly at all (with the exception of 2 persons). 2) city center is more than 7 kms because the hostel is not in the city center so every day you need to take a bus / tram (1.85 - 2.5 euro single ticket). 3) breakfast is very very poor ( 2 pieces of bread, 1 slice of ham 1 cheese; 1 yoghurt, no fruit) 4) during the whole week there where several children camps and they made a LOT of noise (dont expect to have a ni e and quiet breakfast ). This was one of my least hostel experiences!!!

Kind of in an obscure location. It's a good twenty minute walk into the city. The walk along the Douro river is beautiful though. The place was clean but kind of depressing. Weird vibe. They had a huge group of 10-12 year olds staying there. Cheap and clean though!

I had to go to the airport to get my flight in the early morning, so I got up early morning around 5a.m But there is located in bit far from city centre, no direct bus and no tram to the airport. It was hard to get to the airport in early morning, but one kind staff helped me all the way to bus stop. He searched bus connection and timetable and tram as well, looked for bus stop, took me to bus stop. Finally I could get bus and tram!! I'm very very thanksful for him;)
