I booked via Hostelworld and paid a deposit of €8 instead of €12, cause I was using a voucher. Unfortunately our reservation wasn't working and we had to pay the full amount for our stay. I didn't get my €8 back! Somehow the money got lost between the transaction or the hostel kept it. Not cool. Luckily I used the voucher

Only one guy speaks english and he doesnt work everyday, but the staff is nice. The place is good and clean but they dont really have a nice common area so its difficult to meet people.

Perfect breakfast!

Stayed here to be close to Oktoberfest in blumenau - staff didn't speak any english which was very unhelpful. Rooms were clean as were the bathrooms but the shower was cold. Kitchen had a strange smell to it and seemed dirty and small. Overall I think it was an expensive hostel for what we received.

The Hostel was nice and clean so was the ensuite in the dorm i stayed in. The Staff were helpful and the breakfast was quite good with a good variety. Location and price were great considering that it is a very expensive city. Only 10min walk to the main beach and 10-15min to the main shopping district. They didnt really promote much of a social vibe but if thats what your after you can probably find that out on the town. all round a good hostel

Its more a pousada than a hostel. Its nice, clean, and its private bedrooms are super comfortable. Its close to the center and the beach (not sooo close, but about 6-7 blocks). Shared spaces arent too crowded. I didnt like that you have to pay to use the pool table. They sell coke, water, sprite, etc, at regular prices, which is great.

Try to book in advance and get a cheap hotel. The staff was helpfull, but the girl that was in my bed before just showed up at 10 pm to get her stuff from the locker, i had no locker until then. And the bed was dirty, so was the shower... Good breakfast though.

The room I stayed was a 6 bed dorm ensuite, it was too small for 6 people, bathroom was so small that everything (shower, sink, etc) were all together, cleaness was not very good as well.. breakfast is good, location is not bad as well its a 10 minute walk from the main beach...

I had a single room (ensuite), but there were 4 beds. The room was so cold at night I had to take all 4 (very thin) bed covers to barely stay warm. Thank God there were 4 beds. The hostel was noisy! I could hear every word from the room next to me. It was also annoying to hear every step in stairs, corridors and rooms in the middle of the night which were caused mostly by women´s high heels against stone floor (carpets nowhere). There weren´t butter for bread and sausage wasn´t eatable.

(translated by google) very good in all aspects, all are to be congratulated

Not a horrible experience or anything, just a pretty boring, uneventful hostel with no bar and no social activities; not even super close to the beach. Our main qualm was with the guy working the day shift, who was kind of an idiot--unhelpful with the wifi internet problems (you have to try the password several times before it works), and the process of charging us for the room seemed like nuclear fusion for him. Not many people staying, and no people our age were there--maybe just a dead time.

Good place to stay! I enjoyed!

The rooms where clean, but the bathroom stank and was filthy.. The rest of the hostel is good but not fantastic. Ten minute walk to the beach which is good.

10 min walk to the beach, this hostel has nice rooms with a balcony. Breakfast is reasonable and has good kitchen facilities. Was not much happening in the communal room.

A good choice if you want beach and good parties. If you have a car, there's a parking area.

The cleanning was ok, the staff is great and the breakfast was good. It\'s not so near downtown, we had to take a bus/taxi or walk a lot to go to the pubs, it\'s not so closer to the beach too, but is totally possible to go there walking, the location wasn\'t great but it didn\'t was a problem. The unique thing I really didn\'t like was the bathroom , it\'s was really very small. In general, it worths.

I met Hostel Rezende and I was delighted with the excellent service, organization and cleanliness of the place. Aside from the variety of tours offered by it, where I had the opportunity to do a tour that was very good. The Hostel is located in a beautiful city that offers us different options for leisure and fun for both the day and for the night, and everything is close to the hostel as beaches, shopping. Really had the feeling that was in my house and I recommend to all.
