I've found that hostel really dirty, the bathrooms are not enough for all guests and were broken, the hot shower doesnt work, they have nothing for to do on raining season. The lockers are not enough too, so the bags must to stay on the floor.
Very helpful people. Has helped me to find tickets for local shows and teached me how to get public transport. Thanks a lot to Rafael, that stay in the reception. I'll be back for sure.

it is a great hostel. they just should improve the bathrooms and toilets, providing better showers and more hangers
Except for the guy at desk in the afternoon that never had a clue, the staff of this hostel is excelent! Saudade for Enrique and Rodrigo! It is not a party hostel but if you get to know the right people, it can get fun. The patio at the front is great to chill and have beers and good talks. The rooms are good and with air con, but the baths are downstares. Great location! When i get back to Rio, i may be hosted there again.
Not a party hostel. Very small but in a good location. Stayed over carnval, which we paid alot for yet the didnt offer for clean sheets and turned off the air con at 10am. Suppose not a good move since most of us got home around 5am. But if that is what your after, then book here
Terrible hostel. The staff and guests did not speak english. I might expect some people to only speak Portuguese in a Brazillian hostel but to have no staff or guest speak any english is quite unexpected. The people staying here appeared to be locals and visiting Brazillians using the property more as an apartment than a hostel. There was no community, no joint activities, no anything that might resemble fun. I stayed one night and checked in to a better hostel the next day.
The place is nice and clean and the staff is friendly and helpful.
El lugar es lindo, confortable, queda cerca de la playa. El personal te da un trato excelente. Detalle:Un poco chicas las habitaciones, Por lo demas me gusto mucho!
The chick in the mornings ( I think her name was Ameila???) was wonderful. So helpful and lovely. The hostel was great!!!
The place is well located. The Staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms are small but they are still decent (wood floors, windows). Only minuses are that it's noisy outside (right near a tunnel where many cars drive by) and the breakfasts are pretty minimalist, and are the same every morning(always the same kind of bread, and cheap juice).
Lovely clean hostel, with extremely helpful staff. Can´t say anything bad about this place! Definitely recommend it!
The hostel was alright, but the people staying there was mostly semi old ladyes and families. Don't know if it's like that all the time. free internet was nice, but the computers were old and not so good. I left before I was suppose to, because it was boring and there was not any young europeans to hang out with..
great hostel - small, family atmosphere, extremely friendly and helpful staff
My third time in this hostel. Pefect location in the center of Copacabana. There is a 24h supermarket 5min from the hostel. This is nice because there is a good and clean kitchen which you can use. 5min walk to the beach and the metro station. Very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are a little bit small, but there is still space for lockers. They offer a lot of sightseeing tours. The breakfast is a little bit small but ok. I felt very safe in the hostel and really can recommend it.
