i love thiswonderful old mansion where the hostel is located, and have stayed here several times. The location is very convenient. The conditions have even improved since my last stay, since there is a complimentary breakfast. One of the best things, compared to other hostels, is the fact that there are very comfortable places to sit in the pleasant living rooms and dining room.

This hostel was one of the most beautiful hostel I have ever stayed in! The upkeep on the mansion to preserve the originality is incredible~

The Hostel is situated in great area, easy to get to everything by foot. Though there is not a lot happening around the area so I wouldn't recommend a long stay in Sacramento. The security is top notch and so is the cleanliness. Almost no hot water when having a shower and there were no curtains in the dorm I was given which made it hard to sleep once the sun was up. Ask for a dorm off H street, there was quite a bit of noise from the locals which made it hard to sleep.

A beautiful hostel which I would highly recommend. Nice clean rooms. Well looked after facilities. The only gripe would be that one member of staff was not particulalrly helpful or friendly. The others were pleasant.

A staff member was really friendly and helped me out with getting informations about Lake Tahoe, camping sites etc.
