HI - Sacramento Reviews

The room hadn't been cleaned when I got there, nor was it ever cleaned during my stay. There were empty cups and trash all under the beds. Other than that it was fine just very quiet and empty.

it is a lovely old mansion, almost too good for a hostel. Staff do their job but very rarely say hi or speak at all for that matter. Short walk to amtrak, long walk to greyhound. not far from downtown. clean and comfortable with a great kitchen. breakfast is starts and finishes too early. It was very quiet so there wasn't much atmosphere. Great place to stay if you're in sacramento for a day or two.

Nice and clean but boring.

An awesome hostel in an old building. Close to everything and very clean. The morning guy seemed a little grumpy, maybe because he had been on night shift all night :) Also, there was a lot of souvenir money at the desk. It's cool, but it could be doing more if it was donated to UNICEF, they take all currency of any denomination. Just saying.

Really nice building, quite clean, in a good location with good facilities.

This place was really fabulous! I am a history buff and have seen all these beautiful old victorian houses and wondered what it would be like to live in one. This was a great place to share in a bit of that history. Good location, walking distance to nice restaurants and bars. Very nice!

The Sacramento hostel was lovely however the night attendant on the 13th was not helpful and played very loud rock music on his computer while working at the front desk. Several of us were trying to read in the common area - this really took away from the ambiance.

i love thiswonderful old mansion where the hostel is located, and have stayed here several times. The location is very convenient. The conditions have even improved since my last stay, since there is a complimentary breakfast. One of the best things, compared to other hostels, is the fact that there are very comfortable places to sit in the pleasant living rooms and dining room.
